Thermo-Hygrometer Placement

I just got a Mondi Thermo-Hygrometer that records maximum and minimum temperature and relative humidity. Any opinions about where it is best to place it in the growroom to produce the most useful data?

I have 6 DWC buckets under 2 600w HPS lights in a 10'x30' basement room. Hoping to use 2 3'x4' ScrOG frames.

Opinions desired and encouraged and would also love to know the rationale supporting the opinion.

FWIW I did a search before posting and unable to find a relevant thread. If this has been answered before could someone kindly list a pointer.

Thanks!

At first I like to try various area and take an average, but best place is canopy level, out of direct light...the two placed you'll want readings are canopy level and under the skirts.

I like to use the digi thermos that measure temps "inside and outside". They use a small temp probe that can be placed in the canopy and the unit can be hung on the wall to measure ambient.
