i have been smoking a long time - since '66 - and i have had this happen to me maybe three times total. i take the green hit from a bowl or vape and not only feel the power in the smoke, but i taste something that doesn't even taste like dank at first; it tastes like some strong medicine or something.

i know it is a good taste and i get to taste it in my mouth for at least a minute after the hit. mmm. wow.

the rest of the bowl tastes just great - but the ultra magic only lasted for that one hit...

anybody else have this sometimes? all the time?

Most of the time, IMO...

The smoke and resin is immediately distributed throughout the rest of the joint/bowl and alters the flavors of what's left.

just tried this stuff called "JAGER"..... GDP x Jack Herer....OMG
lush dark purple... w/ taste of liquorice and anise....spicy and funky... w/ tones of lavender, and chocolate......long lasting on the tounge and roof of mouth.....besides the tight full bodied chunky nugs of rock hard mind melt.......

ok! so how does one get 'terp' hits? i got one the other day - big load on the vape, high temperature, first hit of the load.

i think you would have to start with really really strong weed?

it's more than a green hit; the flavor profile changes dramatically.

it's like the flavor going through the roof into a different realm and then coming back through the same hole it left...

i can't imagine having those all the time...

Yort, I am working with some Jager now... Im surprised you like it, IMO the buzz is totally weak on the pheno I am smoking, but that flavor is damn good. The best hits come when you don't char your bowl and you just barely let the heat of the flame hovering the bowl burn away the terps and lightly toast that first hit...mmmmm makes me want to bust out my jar of Tangerine Kush thats been curing for 2 and a half months...

Green, for me insinuates chlorophyll. Terp hits are not green that way. It is just the full on flavor and feeling that comes from the first few hits vaping {Depending on how hot you go}. They give you a detached feeling, kinda like you are going to pass out. Have gotten terp hits other ways, but usually vaping.

Received my first one in 99 in a place called Grassroots in Vancouver. We had a huge hookah filled with some very nice hash. The owner asked me to start the bowl. Buddy applied a light and I started chuffing. Once it was going good I took a huge hit and held it. I saw the world going away and it was everything I had to stay conscious. The next dude was asking me for a light, but I could not take my hands off the counter. I could only respond no sir, can't do it right now lol.

Have had many great terp hits like that since then. None as profound as the first, as I knew what to expect after that. It did teach me though, terps are a powerful thing. We have hunted the terp hit since and what a blast. Peace GS

When I first started growing OG that's what it was like. The first hit off a clean pipe, freshly dried bud, not cured yet had the most magical fresh taste, after a cure it was excellent but not quite the same.
