Ok long story short, this isn't my first rodeo, so I have a fair idea of what I'm doing.

The grow area is a hair over 8x12x6.5

There is a 5x6 area adjacent, which will house resivoirs and nutrient stock tanks.

Anyplace there is water, has pondliner on the floor and up the wall ~18".

Nutrients will be jr peters hydro with calnit. The system runs alive, ie there is no sterilization, in fact there is a biofilter in the res.

Strains consist of GDP, Tahoe OG, Indiana bubblegum, g-13, grape ape, and 4 bubbatrainhaze testers from raredankness.

This is real time, the clones are rooted, and other than some modification to the plumbing still to be done, due to a faulty pump, everything will be up and running within a few days to a week.

Now some pics

Glad to have an old head looking over my shoulder.

I forgot to mention that there will be plants in another horizontal system in the middle of the room.

Total canopy space including the system on the floor is about 150 sqft in a 8x12 room.

so the vert lamps will provide lighting to the sides of the horizontal system in the middle as well as the plants in the HD buckets around the walls... am i getting that right?

sounds awesome.

:lurk:

Yes, hopefully I'll have the 2x4 tray(going to be e&f) in tomorrow, I'll put pics up after that.

Plants are in the vert system now.

Depending on how long they take to throw roots to water, maybe 3-4 weeks to flower.

Glad to be in on first page at least! Sucks scrolling threads from the pros 50+ pages later...
You should be able to rotate your photos on your phone/camera before posting them. It's one more step, but even if they had an editor, you would still have to do it ;-)
So three 1k bulbs along the long sides between the table and the stadium? Nice use of light and space. Stuck with 600s for more canopy per sf of floor space, but this is a nice hybrid in thought!

glad to have you along arminius, ill try taking the pictures sideways lol

and you've nailed it, table in the middle, lights running sides blasting the fuck out of the room.

~100 sqft floor space with 6k is 60 watts per, not having enough experience vertical i dont know if it will transfer to the canopy like that, inverse square law and all...

but, i do have faith i can pull 1gpw and still have room to circumnavigate the room.

damn sideways pics, tried editing on my computer, but i guess i have to do it at the source, so, soon i will have pics of the individual strains. still waiting to put the 2x4 table in, i don't want the plants going in it too big, so they are developing a fine root system under low light while not growing much....

some buds.

I bet it was fun to plumb that. Very cool.

fuckin a right lol

i was doing the rough math, and it came to ~10cuts and ~11 glue joints per bucket(28)

and i dry fit everything first....

took about two days, me being lazy and all, my only complaint is uniseals and hdpe plastic.

the holes need to be the perfect size, and i mean perfect. too small, and you get cracked buckets and leaks, and you get to figure out how to replace buckets without taking it all apart, which isnt all that hard, but a PITA nonetheless. too big and no seal.

if i could go back, the one thing i would do different is just break down and spend the chedda on bulkheads, uniseals are great, and have many uses, but running them through thin hdpe(which is notoriously brittle) just doesn't work.

Bulkheads are definitely the way to go. My local sprinkler supply store is my new favorite place! Well worth the couple extra bucks.
