The XXVIII amendment to the Constitution!

What would you like it to read?

How about:

Any citizen of the United States of America that cultivates marijuana for their own personal consumption. Can not be harassed, investigated or prosecuted for the cultivation. Furthermore no person can be descriminated against for the use of marijuana.

The sale and trading of cannabis seeds is accepted under this amendment.

No one or company can sale cultivated marijuana.
The sales of cultivated marijuana remains illegal. But is deemed a misdaminer and only punishable by fines.

Sounds good to me. I could live with this. What about you?

how about changing the thing about sale and trade to.........

Any cannabis and or cannabis derived products shall be legal and exempt from prosecution if the cannabis and or cannabis derived product is cultivated or produced in the United States and or any country included in the NAFTA system including Mexico and Canada.

Cannabis and or Cannabis derived products originating from nations (other than the United States, Canada, or Mexico) shall remain illegal for sale due to the possibility of the sale funding a terrorist organization. Trade without renumeration for cannabis and cannabis related products derived from these nations will be accepted as legal such that no currency or other product of value is exchanged for the purpose of funding terrorism.

I am sure it would also read something like

for every ounce of cannabis sold, a tax of a certain percentage will be collected.
you think they would turn the number one cash crop legal and NOT collect tax on it?

No one or company can sale cultivated marijuana.(herb)

People dont get stuck on the money!

No money should be made from herb. I would hope that it would nt be worth as much as it is now. This is why it will never be legal in our lifetime.

Should be worth as much as tomatos.

The only reason good herb is worth so much, is...it is illegal!
Most people who smoke, dont grow because... it is illegal!
Criminals make money on it, because... it is illegal!
The only reason people who dont smoke, dont like Marijuana, is... it is illegal

I dont think being unable to make money off of herb should be the debate
of anyone that enjoys smoking!

I know people want to imagine going into a store and pickin up some pre-rolled doobies! I have had those same fantasies. But I think that the saying that gets alot of play on theses forums is appropriate,
Sell a man some herb, he gets high a while!
Let him grow. And he gets high for life!

Let him grow! Just let him grow! :sasmokin:

Congress shall make no law prohibiting or restricting any peaceful and honest adult human action, not involving force or fraud, any state interest to the contrary notwithstanding.
Peaceful acts shall include those which affect only oneself or which merely offend others without invasively and coercively harming them. The government shall recognize that all people have the natural right to be free from the coercive harm of others and to do whatever does not coercively harm others. Economic competition not involving force or fraud shall not be restricted.
"Restricting" under this law shall include any seizure or confiscation of not-stolen property unless the accused is tried in a court of law. This law shall not apply to persons which a court of law deems to be mentally incompetent. Any government official, whether elected or appointed, who votes in favor of legislation, or who imposes regulatory restrictions, contrary to this law, shall be personally liable at court for damage awards.
