The 'where I would relocate to' thread

I read another thread on here about someone who was relocating to Spain from the UK. It raises an interesting question: where would you relocate to if you were unhappy with your current location? Where is reasonably cheap to live/relatively Cannabis friendly and the locals are relatively friendly. I suppose Spain is a good shout( although I heard there are a lot of burglaries there). Mexico? Cananda? Alaska? Costa Rica ? Just some which spring to mind....

If I had a lot more money than I do, I'd say Alaska every time.

I was stationed there for 6 years and loved it. I'd go back in a second, but it is too damn expensive to live there.

I would say Netherlands, but I'm so much in love with nature and there's really none there... let's also toss a vote to southern Spain, never been there yet, though, so I could be talking soft.

maybe 15 miles down the road ..until maine gets warmer weather due to cli mate change..lol... yeehaw

Longer grow season Maine would be badass.

I'm happy to live and die right here in Cali despite all its bullshit.

Alaska...if I had nothing left to lose.

..... Asheville, NC!:peacock::woohoo:

my hometown, don't bother, it's far past it's prime, and a super unfriendly place for cannabis - altho lots of good growers there, more of a beer town nowadays, heavily gentrified and exploited. some of the artists that gave the city its reputation are still around, some good recording studios in that area as well as moog, it's still got that going for it, not enough tho imo. NC is seriously the most backwards place in the country

India for me, rishikesh area or goa, or both, seasonally. cheap to live, lots of decent charras

altho it's super expensive, if $ was not an issue i would consider the bay area... have always loved sf, norcal, santacruz, bigsur - seems like you could easily spend a lifetime exploring that area.

Yes India never thought of that ! Although I suppose you would be easy victim for the local authorities if they chose to swoop on your 5 plant garden grow etc:) . one of the problems of being the 'outsider' you stand out like a sore thumb....

I would fancy the Alps if I could afford a cottage there...but France/Austria are not cheap places to live...
What about the Island where Papillon was sent to and he had that little vegetable plot next to his neighbour..! No authorities there...

if you are into mountains, alps style & have even remotely that kind of $ then colorado becomes an option....
not sure about the island you are talking about, but i've also always dreamed of checking out reunion island, home of the zamal weed. i doubt living there long term could be an option, in terms of relocation.

Alabama. friendliest folks i have ever met, damn near all rural. plenty of deer, turkeys, incredible fresh & saltwater fishing. got mountains (sort of ) in the northeast part of the state, beaches on the gulf etc. their cannabis laws on the books are draconian, BUT...there are lots of guerilla growers, and the encounters that we have had with LEO (state, county, & nat'l forest rangers) could ALL have gotten very ugly, yet we slid without so much as a speeding ticket. if you are not being stupid/bothering people & keep a civil tongue in your head, you have a good chance of skating if unlucky...

I did Spain... it was great but NOTHING ever gets accomplished. It's always tomorrow. Or next Tuesday!

There is an excellent tool for free use on the Internet that helps you choose the best location for you to be based on your own personal astrological birth chart. It calculates all that for you - just enter your birth date and time and location (no real name is needed) and you can get a map of the globe with lines all around it... click anywhere for a brief pop up message about that location, and you specifically.

This is not spam :)

This site is in Switzerland and run by Robert Hand... FYI...

I used it to analyze three locations and chose the best one for me :)

It worked.
