Selling hydro gear is no problem but if someone knows your eBay username they may be able see the sale in your history if you don't use a fresh account. As far as LEO is concerned I don't think they'd really have the staff (or the right) to troll for private sellers getting rid of gear, but nothing is impossible. I say go for it on a fresh account -- the only way its going to really effect you now is if you are already under investigation...
