Is the "killing garberville" any relation to the Urkle, dusty??? A buddy of mine has grown her in the past in Berkeley, but that was many years ago; before the whole GDP, and Urkle madness...

p.s. Dusty, we might just have to meet up at the end of the year and compare our goods:D... It would be fun I brethren... JAH bless brother.

I read this in another thread.....
Other names I have uncovered that are likely the same cutting are:
Garberville PK... aka Swerve's Cut
Mendocino PK
Kyle Kushman's PK
"K's", PK

Any truth in this? I saw that the dude who posted it was banned so maybe it is bullshit?
Swerves Garberville Purple Kush and Purple Urkle are 2 totally different strains....That is a fact.....I'm sure the K's PK and KK's PK are not Urkle as well.....The Mendo Pk could be the same cut as the Purple Urkle though but not too sure....

Here is what the Real Purple Urkle Looks like....It has Bright Orange hairs on it and here is the GV PK for comparison.....

Here is the real Purple Urkle.....

Here is Swerves Garberville Purple Kush.....

As you can see, these are 2 totally different strains......~ogr

no disrespect but you believe what you want.
I ask danny danko about the grape ape because i was told it was a kyle kushman cut. He confirmed and said it was a pheno of an apothecary seed. I contacted apothecary and they informed me grape ape was a pakistani x with skunk 1.
Seems like streight from the horses mouth.

Seems to me either story could be true. neither one of the surcesd have that great of a reputation for getting the facts straight. Seems like a reasonable scenario though.

Dusty, thanks for the info bro. I was just pointing out that my 3 runs of urkle thus far have all been treated the same with only the last run at higher temps showed a lack of purpling.

Great pics everyone :D

I know for a fact Apothecary Seeds did not breed grape ape they got seeds out of Philo, CA that were unnamed from someone who I can't put their name on forum because I Would have to use their real nick name as he is an old man who doesnt know about these forums...its not Paki x SK1.

ograskal yep i got some later shots and some dry shots bro what do ya know!!

Here are some dry shots

These pics are from a nother round in another room

Neptune

I've grown 3 purples side by side, and they are definatly not the same strain... but I do believe they are sisters from a cross made many years ago..

"K's" Purple Kush (sr71)
Granddaddy Purple
Purple Erkle

All 3 different leaves, stretch, veg speed, and nugs smell and taste very different.

I only kept the Granddaddy.

Neptune I hate to argue with you but you probably got clones from different environments then brought them in to one that is different from each of those 3 individiual environments ran them out and made your choice if you gave it time i bet youd find the K's PK cut to be different and Urkle and GDP to be the same :)

I have gotten Urkle from one source and Grandaddy Purple two people removed from Ken and they were the same clone.

Ive seen two or three side by sides with urkle and GDP and they always turn out the same as neptune is describing. One is actually right on ICMAG.

I do however agree with some of the purples being similar or the same from the evidence that NGT showed in his side by sides. I believe that his assesment was that grape, urkle and purple kush were all PI phenos or hybrids, while the GDP was what its always been thought to be. but I am not 100%, may have been from one of the other threads.

The search for the truth continues.
