The Ultimate Mobile Grow Room

My thoughts:

Working inside of that would be a gigantic pain in the ass. Working in cramped spaces is one thing when you have 1 light. 16 lights? no thank you. This goes for every grow-op-in-a-trailer I have ever seen.

I would absolutely not want those dry chemical fire extinguishers in there. If I am in a confined area with $20,000+ of gear and another $40,000+ of weed I want a residue free fire suppressant, period (such as halon). Dry chemical fire suppressant is highly corrosive and will damage or ruin most of the electronics in there if one of those things goes off, not to mention your entire crop would be poisoned as well. If you're in there when it goes off it'll feel like tear gas: it will burn your eyes, choke you up and you'll never forget the taste.

You should not have to go through the flowering room to get to the veg room. If you have to go into the veg room during flowering lights off then you are probably going to be spilling light from veg into flower, unless you're doing shit with all the lights off.

I don't like everything being hidden (to make it look clean) behind panels. What happens when you want to work on something. Either you end up working in a confined space or you have to tear the panels off to get to what you need to work on. I am totally fine with wires, ducts and other equipment being exposed. It doesn't have to be hidden to be organized.

The trailer might contain most of the critical components of a grow, but you're still going to have a bunch of shit that doesn't fit in there. Trimming area and/or trimmers, nutrients and assorted gear, drying and curing area, weighing and packaging area, etc. You could probably jam all of the other stuff you need into another trailer, a "support trailer" if you will.

I think the main draw of these trailers is in the even that you knew the law was coming you could hook up the trailer and get out before they got there. That is mostly a fantasy, since in probably 95+% of grow-op busts the growers have no idea that a bust is about to happen. How would you? Maybe if you saw them outside about to come in, but then how are you going to drive a big trailer out of there?

I have yet to see pics or impressions of a grow done in one of these on here. I would love to hear the opinion of somebody who has completed a grow in one.

AK,
But it's only $70,000 US... And where do you hitch up to power? Also, I think their claim on the # of amps needed is, shall we say, conservative. Also, 1000w over a 3x3? Plus having a trailer like that sitting almost anywhere hitched up to a lot of amps and making all kinds of noise is a knock off. A ladder for entry? sheeit... Most models use swamp coolers. sheeit... -granger

I friend has 2 trailer he grows out of. Just 1 row of lights to have 2 walk ways around plants. He does real well. Anouther problem is weigh stations and DOT if you are moving this thing. Best to hide it in a barn,,, or build out the barn. Nice looking work though.

Still waiting on a giant space ship to grow in that! How awesome would that be? I'd still be hiding from NASA but damn, I'm sure it would be highly mobile!

Well it's not realistic for a number of reasons, thus why it is a dream and not a goal.

How about an aircraft carrier, that is nuclear powered. Or perhaps a Typhoon, just after those peskie ruskie SLBM's are taken out.

Not necessarily in the event of law enforcement, but I think the main draw is merely the ease of location change.

There is a lot to say about having the ability to shift locations quickly without having to tear down/re-build. Run in this commercial building for a few runs.. switch to another.

I'm interested in building a smaller grow trailer, but have been putting it off for some time because the funds are really better spent elsewhere. I'd like a smaller 4800w - 6000w motorcycle trailer (lower in height) that can easily fit in an attached garage. Most attached garage homes I've seen have their main electrical panel in the garage. Would sure be nice to find a new location every 1-2 years and hardly miss a beat.

They have their pros for sure.

These commercial outfits are a joke though when it comes to price, I guess that just comes with the territory of not doing it yourself.

Its a nice setup...but most people are concern with building the ultimate grow-room than actually increasing production of buds. If i had the half the money those guys had, i could pull enough to buy 3 of those trailers or build an underground bunker.
