Like the title says is homies, what do you think? what have you seen?

I personally believe in ghosts, not because in my imagination these things seem possible and plausible, but also because of things I've seen.

To be honest, I cannot remember a time in my life when I felt sure that there were not such things as ghosts and the like, to me it just seemed plausible based on the strong lore about them and the retelling of various sorts of experiences from so many individuals with such wide range of personalities, that it seemed improbable that they were all systematically lying.

Also, based on personal experience, for example, having seen ghosts, has helped cement the idea that having no preconceived notions about many aspects of the world and life in general, helps reveal a fuller nature of reality, endless possibilities of what can be true.

I 100% believe in "ghosts".

When I was a little swamp, we had a ghost that liked to try on my mothers clothes. She thought it was me or my sister playing in her room while she was at work. She bitched us out and tuna deadbolt on her bedroom door. Behind that locked door, her wedding dress kept getting pulled out and set on her bed. True shit. We moved not long after that. We found out later that a woman had been murdered by her brother in that house.

my dad who was a very grounded person saw the ghost of a little girl twice while staying in an older home on the Washington coast. I believe in the spirit world but have not seen or experienced any encounters.

I like to entertain all possibilities. I've never seen a ghost, but I have experienced the mind's ability to "see" something that isn't there. When I was a boy, I sneaked out of the house very early morning and rode my bike around. Don't ask me why I did it, I was a little kid. If I would have been caught, my life would have been over. So coming home, who do I see waiting for me in the front yard? My mom plain as can be. I was shitting myself and then she was just gone. I was completely sure she was there, but she wasn't . . . and she wasn't a ghost either. So I'm somewhat skeptical of first person accounts. I've heard them and I do not doubt the honesty or belief of the folks telling of ghost encounters.

That said, I like to ponder the theory that spirit world sitings are actually glimpses into parallel words where the "membrane" is thin so to speak.

I've help a few move toward the light, and I've blessed space for a friend who owns a very old, historic building with more than a few ghosts.

is it just people who can become ghost's? i do see some talk about ghosts of pets - cats, dogs, few birds
if ghosts of animals exist, where's the animal line? i don't think too many ghosts of mice have been seen
ghosts of insects? that would be strange

Our former cat would visit us occasionally, and after we adopted a new rescue cat, she visited a couple of times, I think to check out the newcomer, then she showed up less and less, and I assume that by now she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Yes, you can have ghosts of animals, however, animals rarely have a problem with the end of life, so rarely get "stuck" here. They transition quite easily.

Heard my name called in the wind once. Never saw a vampire, unless... i am one. And then... maybe I just never saw my own reflection as a vamp, so I've never known.

I saw the glow of an orb electrify an entire living room

Felt the presence of ghosts, had reccuring dreams and lucid sequential dreams, astral projections, out of body and near death experiences

I may be an alien, still not sure what to make of it.

Might have had an experience with black eyed children. And I saw a 2 headed woman driving a car once.

Had a ghost dog once in a new house.

A few people felt it and commented on it independently.

I think it was residual energy from the previous owners dogs, or maybe something more

I believe in ghosts, I've seen them when I was young and felt them around recently. I think if you try hard enough you can conjure up many things just out of sight.

When I think of ghosts, the best I could explain is that many times, when people die, it takes a while to realize and / or accept that you have died, or rather, that your life in the realm of your physical body has ended; and so you hang around thinking you are still in said body and try to carry on as usual.

back in '99 or '98, I was in my home city, at around 5pm, with a friend who was driving his car and another friend in the co-pilots seat, I was sitting in the back behind the driver's seat. we were stock in traffic in a four lane avenue, two that went up and two that went down, we were going up, when suddenly, a bunch of people came out running from two different stores which were right in front of the other across the street that we were on, and many of them started to shot at each other, there was a lady, dressed well, around her 40s, that used the car we were on as a shield, took a gun out of her purse and started shooting at the other side over the roof, it was wild wild west kind of shit; one guy riding a bicycle down the street with earphones on did not notice what was happening and got shot in the head, dropped dead right there and then, I saw another two guys get shot and bleed out...

anyway, my friend that was driving sees that no cars are coming down the street, so he decides to step on the gas and go over the isle and cross into the down-street and went up as fast as the car could..

we were driving towards the cafeteria of a big university's campus, we got there and parked, and just sat there in shock and talking about what had happened. we decided to go seat at some main plaza and relax for a bit and maybe even skip dinner. so we walked to the plaza, but during the way I thought no one crossed eyes with us or noticed us at all, and we are talking busy city at around 5pm... I started to think we had gotten killed in the shoot-out and we still had not noticed, so when we reached the plaza, I saw some kids standing smoking cigarettes and I went up to them to ask for one just to see if they could see me and talk to me

that's what I think would have happened more or less if we had gotten killed
