The Tale of XO/Goat and Monkey Seeds

Hi all. This is a touch of knowledge from the past and an update on the Tale of Xochipilli, One-Eyed Jack and XO Seeds~>House of Goat and Monkey.

Matt Delisle was my friend and collaborator of nearly 30yrs. In Feb, 2022, we created a new parent company together and rolled Goat and Monkey into it. When Matt passed unexpectedly, he had no will, siblings in the USA and an ex-wife and young son in South America.

Being the sole surviving member of the business, I immediately secured all assets and zero'd out the website inventory. There are still products in the distribution channel, but those accounts were settled.

As the estate nears the end of probate, the intention is to start a reduced model of Matt's original 'best of' as a for-benefit for his young son. (cont'd)

I am working with the entire family and a core of Matt's old and best friends. And when this falls into place, the website and social media accounts will be updated.

In the meantime. There is 1 specific individual that was a contract seedmaker. This individual has no claim nor legal rights to anything related to the business.

*This individual has repeatedly attempted to hijack the brand and has confiscated materials that were not his (last project genetics)*

Until an official statement is made, DO NOT PURCHASE anything labeled 'son of goat and monkey'. Matt's son isn't even a teenager and has neither the knowledge nor understanding of Cannabis.

Matt was a kind and generous friend… He sent me dozens of his strains after we got to be friends spending time at the cabin together… that man did like his mushrooms…

That's awesome! Hopefully you grow some and we get to see how they turn out. I think my pack of queens came with 12 seeds if I remember correctly and a free pack of ultimate og which I haven't grown yet. Any pics of it in flower?

I believe I counted five seeds in that envelope and I’m sure I grew them out well over a decade ago so I don’t remember what they look like. My current 5 x 5 tent is dialed in very nicely and soon as I get done running the beans that I’ve popped. I will more than likely pop these… I found an old stash of Tahoe, OG, Romulan, and Williams wonder. I’ve got them in vegetation and I should be up potting them today if I ever get done with my yardwork… I become a procrastinator in my old age

That's quite some time ago! I had no idea they were that old. I purchased mine about 4-5years ago . Gave a seed to 2 different friends and flowered one myself. Have 3 going now, but one may not make it.
Sounds like your growing some delicious strains over there . Romulun and Tahoe not familiar with Willie's wonder

Yeah, I’m pretty proud of the way that turned out. I’ve handed out quite a lot of those clones to people here on site and everybody’s done at least as well as I or better with that particular strain. I apologize for posting it twice, but my memory has gone by the wayside as with my youth…
