Hi guys
I'd like to share some of my experiences on growing cannabis in suboptimal environments. I live in Medellin, Colombia and have been growing cannabis for at least 20 years. Medellin's climate is a bit too warm and a bit too wet for cannabis, but the plant still manages to survive here, with some help from the grower of course.
Here are some images from my current indoor grow.
-Strain: unknown F2. It has a typical flowering time of 8 weeks. Very stretchy. All plants are sisters and grown from seed.
-Lights: 3300 watts of led lamps (mostly Mars SP 3000).
-Area: 15 x 7 ft.
-Substrate: mostly sphagnum peat with small amounts of both compost and vermicompost.
-Nutes: DIY.
-Container size: about 2.5 gal
-Temperature with lights on: 80-86 °F
-Current RH: 40-50%. It can be a lot higher during the rainy season
-Irrigation: hand watered (yup, I'm basically a slave)
-Room: semi-open with natural ventilation and some fans to improve air circulation
-Pest pressure: off the charts
-Disease pressure: off the charts
Day 9 of bloom. Lights off.
