Bad thing is they are $70 plus tax, plus shipping, depending where you get it. I think eventually this type of technology will be the norm, and will only cost $15-20, like the standard timers.

The gimmick with the kill-a-watts is they have a built in voltmeter, something you wouldn't need at all on a CO2 rig.

If you like the kill-a-watt units also consider a Brultech home energy monitor they are nice products.

I wouldnt plug a 1000 into that.It will eventually melt the socket form heat.seen that happen plenty of times.
