So I picked up some of these Phuncky Feel tips , from RooR, and they are sick ,makes joint seem tastier?, somehow, and u can smoke it all the way down to nothing by sliding the filter out near the end ,.... no more roachs,

I just bought some of these but after 20 plus years of rolling I'm struggling like a noob to get the roll right.
I'm not used to having a roach inside while I roll (a lot of smokers now do it that way) I'm old school I put the roach in after but damn I'm struggling and my joints are not usually as fat at the roach end too.
Either way you're right about the taste I've been funny about even using rolling paper packs as most people use round here as I noticed years ago they taste like shit.
I'll try again with a smaller joint like yours,I'd like a big spliff but these king raws are driving me nuts............

Who is rolling a joint with a roach inside?
do you mean like a straight up roach, paper and all rolled into the end of a joint?
If I have roaches I take the paper off and mix it with the bud I'm rolling with. I've only ever seen dumbasses putting whole roaches in joints or rolling an entirely roach joint with the paper on the multiple roaches.
I'm not saying you're a dumbass, just that I've only ever seen legitimate dumbasses do it.
And what's this about using the rolling paper pack for a filter and it changing the taste of a joint?
I do that all the time, paper pack, cig pack, random cardboard flyer.....whatever stops it from collapsing, and I can't say personally that I've noticed a difference.
Have I just smoked too much this morning already?
Anyway, as for the tips, I've seen them around a lot and considered buying a set but I wasn't sure if it was really worth it..... like why are there 3 different shapes, for instance

They think I'm a weirdo when I put my roach in after I rolled my joint although my old way is a bit of a nightmare if I'm trying to roach a joint in the dark somewhere.
With regards to taste of paper roachs,try say a rizla packet then try a pack of unbleached hemp tips/roachs you can buy and you may notice a difference I certainly do but it might be my taste buds as I was a trained coffee/tea taster for a while.
And I think they have 3 different shapes just for personnel preference of how the smoker likes to smoke as I certainly prefer the flat tip to the rounder one.

There's a noticeable difference in taste with anything with ink. besides that, you have to be careful not to burn into the cardboard. plain white 3x5 cards are my favorite.

I like my joints regular ..when it gets small I pop it in my mouth and eat it...yeehaw..if ya don't roll tiny joints theres no need
Yeah I get a load of those free with my packs of raw and they are great but I just fancied something different,but I didn't realise I had to roll a joint the thickness of my wrist for it to fit.
Tried again tonight and it ended up looking like a tampax and my ground herb was still coming through the glass tip into my mouth..........20 years in this game and I should be doing better.

rolling paper and weed=regular joint.....I only eat the roaches when mobile....yeehaw...saved my ass as a youth from the forgotten ashtray roach during a piggy encounter....old habits die hard
I also have another theory as to why I'm having problems rolling with these glass tips....Well everyone I know who are right handed puts the roach in the left hand side of a spliff whereas I put it in the right hand side (so I'm doing the opposite to everyone else),it's the same thing but opposite with my pc mouse,I'm right handed and usually right handed people use the right hand for the mouse but I use my mouse with my left hand for some strange reason.

these ones r easier to roll into the joint , had an old guy tell me the other day that he hates smoking threw a cardboard filter , says it taste gross,... my pallet isn't as good I guess,..
