I was thinking about something I saw at OG a long time ago.It was a guy who had a small cabinet and he grew a Haze in it.
He grew in soil in a square bucket, but he laid the bucket over on it's side and grew the plant side-ways.It really seemed to retard the stretch of the Sativa, the plant was trying to grow two directions at the same time.I think it might work even better if you trained it to a horizontal screen or chicken wire.
I haven't tried it,but it's an idea.
The chicken wire, makes for a good scrog with Sativa dom plants. Cuts the stretch way down and can keep it under 1.5 feet. I did that with Gypsy's Oaxacan Sativa, and the screen filled out looking like a lovely bouqet! I will show you some pics on a few weeks, they are still quite small. Vegged for a week and put in flower three nights ago, I think the snippers are going to be put to work on these babies.
