I have an appointment with my optometrist first thing this morning. One week check up after surgery. Everything seems fine nothing’s blurry. I sure wish I could get my new glasses. I actually see better with my glasses off that on.

Right after the appointment, weather permitting gonna get a walk in.

Currently sitting in the basement, checking the trichs on my Romulan skunk. Still need some time. You can’t rush, mother nature.

Yep, that was a thing back in those days. Apparently it worked well on your older sister.

I recall my son biting his mom when he was young and his mom biting him back(no broken skin).

I remember my mom washing my mouth out with soap.....Don't remember what I did but I am sure I deserved it. Like swats l laughed it off......my mother was going to town washing my mouth while all the time I was laughing.....I was a hand full......still am.

It's chicken cooking day, I'm going to be roasting up several pieces of chicken breast, some on the bone some not.
Always lots of ways to use cooked chicken breast.

Hi DB, question for you, do you ever get tired of repetitive days? I don't mean that in a negative way but your days seem to blend from one to the next. Mine do, but not always by choice, I love when spring gets here and I can go out to my garden and muck around. Winters are not my favorite time, the cold makes it hard for me to breathe and the muscles around my spine tighten up from the cold causing discomfort. So, I'm mostly homebound and I try to find chores to do and do something for myself that is fun, like being here.

Christmas is only a couple of weeks away. Do you stay home, just you and your Mom or do you have other family members that visit?

My Mrs. and I spend Christmas by ourselves but spend some time on Christmas phone calls, that's it.
