Ordered a .36 hawken for the wife for xmas and been waiting on fedex all day.
Gotta be here to sign for it as a responsible adult........fools.
😆

At least out where you live porch pirates aren't a serious concern. Here where I live people aren't waiting on the delivery guy to be responsible, they do it to keep their packages from being stolen.

Cloudy here today starting at 32F and predicted to soar to 47F.

I continue to fine tune my dab rig and finally got a bid back for the new mouthpiece with carburetor tube for it. $30 to have one made and $10 for the second one, so I ordered two.

I replaced the photoelectric switch for the driveway lights, which came without a schematic, and I apparently wired it wrong because it stays on all the time.

A pain in the butt to replace standing on a ladder but looks like I will be fixing it again today. I infer that I reversed the red and black wires, assuming that the red was hot, and the black was the output, but seemingly it is the other way around.

Well spoken, @oldmaninbc. @HempKat, I can understand your present POV... sometimes shit gets piled on your plate instead of on the barn floor. It can truly suck balls.

One thing I've discovered how the human condition is different from animobiles is that us humans often think the present is gonna represent the future. It can, and does for some. But if you look around your own mental back yard, you will discover times that you were laughing and having fun not too long after a real problem hit you.

Laying low with armed angry people all around you, every single one of whom is absolutely, totally intent of not letting you live out the next day hour... now that is a genuine downer problem, right?

And yet, some time later, you are happy, and actually laughing so hard you are spotting.

One of my heroes, War Correspondent Ernie Pyle, observed sojers coming back from the front lines in shock and quiet misery. He wrote: "The human spirit is like a cork; give it a short time to recover, and it is right back on top."
The way I figure it, the times that most people feel overwhelmed and worried are when they are facing unknown situations, you know, fear of the unknown and all that. Generally speaking though once they spend some time actually confronting it, like the soldiers in your example, then they can relax and even lighten up a bit because now they know what to do and it no longer feels unknown.

No way José
Beneath the moon’s soft, silken glow,
A tale of caution girls should know.
Of lips that meet with tender grace,
But shy away from snuff’s embrace.

For who would crave a bitter kiss,
Where sweetness yields to taste amiss?
The scent of earth, the stain of vice,
No charm enough to pay the price.

So heed this warning, swift and true:
A cleaner path may welcome you.
For kisses pure, let love take wing,
Unmarred by traces snuff may bring
😊

I appreciate the attempt to encourage and I try my best to find a positive side to things, it would be easier if I had someone here with me. Alas all I have is online which is a lot more then many others have but it isn't always enough. Don't worry though, I'll make it thru maybe not as nicely as I would like but I didn't make it this far by just giving up.
Try some music ❤️

Morning gang. Frost outside. I’m laid over the wood stove waiting on it to light back off. House is cold, 64. She just lit off so it will be warm soon.

I’d like full legal immunity and I’ll take care of that rapist Diddy. I’d have him begging for death.
I’d start by chaining him to a tree for a day or so. Give him water and food by hand as an act of submission. And we would end the affair by skinning him alive. No plan for what we would do in between, imagination is good enough to come up with some good stuff. Definitely a red hot fire poker up the ole poop shoot.
The above sentiment is OK, but the methods are poor.

Think: External parasites. Lotsa. Flesh eating bacteria. Placement.
