just before I went off to boot camp , yes I got drafted , my lottery number in the 60’s was #69 , I bought regular gas for $.19 cents a gallon during a gas war

ethyl was 24 cents..
Only lottery I ever won. #39. Could you see this young generation sitting around the tv waiting to see if you were going to be in a foxhole in 3 months. They would all be going trans.

Strange time to have allergies bother you....at least me. Only in the spring. If it's windy dust could cause allergies this time of year.

Sorry you are having issues OM. Take a allegra.....
Allergies have bothered me as long as I can remember. Some times just a few sniffles, watery eyes and being itchy. Other times, when they are bad it causes very runny nose, eyes, insomnia, my breathing becomes somewhat shortened, rashes and ITCHY, itchy to the point I scratch myself until I am bleeding, I even do this in my sleep. I've had treatment for them and take pills. Some times they go away for a period and then come back with a vengeance. I've worked in some very dusty factories, I don't think that helped with anything.
If a fan leaf touches my skin, it gets red and itchy. I have nasal rhinitis which doesn't help with a runny nose and can cause my nose to get so soar I can't eat. One of those things I found out, when you chew it moves your nose. What I really dislike is how it clouds my thinking and makes me edgy.

Good day to you Pute, hope all is well. I'm way behind on the thread today, will probably stay that way today.

When I first found out about allergies, it made sense why I always felt sick at my dusty job. I ended seeing a different doctor and this doctor told me there was no such thing as allergies, I thought he was going to fly over his desk and yell in my face he was so agitated.

Now we know people can die from allergies. Got a little long winded with this post:)

Enough of me, be done!

Happy for you. Does this mean our secret trips to Colfax are out?

I know I’m not the only one here that remembers those numbers. The lowest I can remember is $.34 a gallon and that was in the 50s I believe…
11.9 cents a gallon in Abilene in 1962. <-- it was called locally "drip gas" -- apparently batch leftover or something. Same as regular gas as far as performance.

You say that now. Wait till you’re 98 and still getting it 😊
True dat. While the only thing that gets hard on my is my hearing, I still wake up the same person I was three quarters of a century ago.

You'll have to get there to understand it completely. Mebbe a good way to say it is the "id" is ageless. Aren't you the same person you were 10 years ago? Of course you are.

But yer bod is a recording of your life. Every ding, bung, and shater.
