I need to do a count

I do know I have now been in 3 of the four corners , San Diego , Miami , and Port Angeles

all I need is Portland Maine and a few New England states to make all four corners

Good morning everyone I love you ❤️
Feeling depressed about not having met either one of my daughters and not knowing their names or anything but getting over it. They'd both be like 15 now. One could be in Chicago. She was born in New York City. The other one might be like her mom and hate me. Sometimes life is tough just like getting out of bed and going for a walk and be tough without crying you know
Hey DB, I have a son I've never met. I know he tried to contact the mother's family and they told him they were not interested. I can't imagine how that made him feel. I have no idea how to contact him. His mother gave birth to him in another province and all records were sealed. It just so happens it's in the same city where my son lives. I sometimes wonder if they have ever met and didn't know each other.

A friend of mine and his girlfriend had a child when they were young and gave the child up for adoption. The couple eventually went their own way. Years later my friend bought a new home and as he settled in he met his neighbors. The people next door had a young daughter, whom my friend said he took a liking to. The most incredible thing happened when he found out that was his daughter.

I know my paternal father went on to have other children, I have a half brother and sister somewhere.
I eventually was given my real fathers phone number and address, I was in my 40s. I had asked my gramps for this information. What I wasn't ready for...my real father was in the hospital and dying from lung disease. With the expectations he would die soon. I never did contact him, I didn't know how I could handle it.
The only time I ever seen my father was for a few minutes when we looked at each other but never spoke.

Life can get complicated and messy, it's always best to try and focus on the good things, not always easy but better than beating yourself up or ignoring the good things that are right there beside you.

I lived in Seattle for two years and made a trip about every month to Richmond just outside of Vancouver on the Fraser River

our favorite place to stop for lunch was on Lake Samammish…

Back from a brisk walk. Lake is starting to ice over. Won't be long before the ice fishermen will be out. I won't be one of them.....ice fishing isn't my cup of tea.

Gotta take my daughter to the Gun store this afternoon. She is getting her hubby a pistol for Christmas and she wants to go go along and hold her hand.

He already hss a semi automatic shot gun. Believe me you don't want to be on the working end of this thing.

Congratulations on getting to spend some time with the grand kids!

Child support was 21 years old, married, or otherwise liberated in my divorce settlement. I got a vasectomy immediately thereafter because I couldn't afford anymore kids.

My daughter got married at age 18 against my advice and my son after age 21.
I too paid child-support until the daughter was 21. Then I found out she hadn't been in college for years. That didn't do much for our relationship.

Friday 13 :woohoo:

Usually, it's a good day for me, back a 11pm for an update.

Blast from the past.

Found this picture of what looks like the ride I ran for 3 seasons. A Super loop. A cool machine to operate. We don't just go round and round. We're going upside down.

We always set the big chested ladies in tank tops in the front seat. :whistling: The things that fall out were very interesting. From guns to cocaine. I never had to buy lighters either.

Hard to see in the pic. At the top center there is a turnbuckle that had to be installed and tightened from up there. With a 24" crescent wrench. Pluss the flags had to be carried up. Even smoked a few joints at the top.

I miss working the show, mainly miss meeting all the people and scaring the living sht out of them. Yes, we had to wash out the seats quite a few times.

Nice story littleleaf, had me smiling.

Many many years ago I was reading the wanted ads in the newspaper and there was a job offering for a carny.
I can still remember some of the description; long hours, low pay and lousy living conditions.

Looking like a nice winter day is coming. No doctor appointments today…walk later.

Kevin is laying on my lap so I can’t go downstairs….
Kevin is a sweetie, my last cat's weight was just over16lbs, he got to be quite heavy sitting on my lap and would cause my legs to ache after some time.

I fed my seedlings some Roots yesterday will be transplanting in a week. Up to a 1 gal for a couple of weeks then into their final 5 gal ctn. All new soil blend this season, so a bit of a learning curve.

Hope all is well in Colorado with the Pute family, furry ones and all.
