Welcome everyone!
I thought it would be nice to start a general thread for those of us who either rarely smoke or don't smoke at all. A place for everyone to share thoughts, stories, memories, information, ideas, experiences, and whatever else we can associate with the act of orally consuming cannabis.
I for one have been orally consuming cannabis as my main method of ingestion for around 10 years. I find that smoking brings on the effects too quickly for my tastes and much prefer the smooth glide that oral consumption provides. To be honest, I don't know why more people don't prefer it as well!! I find the effects to be far more satisfying on all levels.
The main misconceptions I encounter from those not in the know are generally related to bad experiences people have had trying to eat cannabis. Usually this means, they either TOTALLY overdid it one time, ( I know I have quite a few times), OR, they claim to never be able to achieve any effects from eating cannabis.
This boils down to a pretty simple solution, keep it simple.
People seem to either try the whole brownie thing and then give up when they get waaaay too high or not high at all.
Here is my favorite and simplest way of getting the old gal into me,
Coffee + Hash + Steamed Half and Half = good to go!
I simply make my morning cup of coffee, steam the half and half in a small sauce pan, throw in a piece of hash and let it get nice and mixed into the cream, pour into coffee and voila!
The main caveat I can give from my experience is that it is most effective on an empty stomach with as little sugar as possible. I usually have my cup of coffee and eat 20 - 30 minutes later just to give the hash enough time to get worked in to me.
This has never let me down, but just be careful not to over do it!!!

I mean, I know a lot of people like to eat cannabis once and a while, but I want to hear from those everyday folks.....!!!
