The little wardrobe wall...

I start a new small project, built with real wood (no press chip) ...

The cabinet consists of two sections, one for the flowering and one for the growth.
In the section where the flowering takes place, will be additional space for the nutrient tank, electrics and for the harvest.

Basic data:
- Flowering with 600W hps (groundarea 1.0m x 1.20m) 20 Plants
- 2 mother plants with 50W / 942 Philips CDM-T MASTERColor Elite
- Aerocloner (60x40cm) Philips CDM-T 35W / 942 MASTERColor Elite
- active supply air in both sections
- and so on ...

The supply air and the exhaust fan are each equipped with a pipe muffler (60cm long) at the front and rear.
The supply and exhaust air inputs go from the top in the closet.
Both cabinets are placed on rubber mats for decoupling. Very neighborhood friendly ... :)
But step by step....

I start with the growth section. The dimensions are 2.30m x 1.15m x 0.8m (height x width x depth).
In this one comes two mother plants, an aerocloner and twenty small pots for rooting in cocos.

I use a transparent wood lacquer, this does not contain any formaldehyde or solvent!
The wood lacquer / furniture lacquer has a very good resistance against water and is also suitable for wooden children's toys (not harmful to health). :)

Thanks guys ! :)

After the work I use my spare time for the cabinet construction. Juhu ...:woohoo:

The basic construction is almost finished. The handles and the door lock are still missing. The fake drawer at the lower end must also be installed.

The left door is closed from the inside with two locking bolts (above and below). The right door from the outside with a door lock.

Next steps are,
- lay pond foil,
- seal the gaps with silicone,
- place the reflective foil,
- rail for lamp holder,
- electrical wiring.

That would be practical and very cool.
You can unfortunately only program the switching time on the smartphone. Then transferred with nfc (near field communication) to the switch. Direct control from afar is not possible with this.

Thank you TPG!

With the handles the cabinet has a touch of early Baroque.

hi c64, great work you've done. was wondering, no sealant around the doors....will the exhaust pull enough to keep odors from coming out or you not that worried about security/smell? i ran a wardrobe closet roughly the same construction as this and had the damndest time with light seepage and odors there

wow, absolutely beautiful!!! the way it should be. I hate chip-board and it outgasses toxic chemicals for 10+ years. You could charge a couple thousand dollars for a finished cabinet like that.

I get tired of tents, they're great but I liked my old C13 wood cabinet better. Also the old closets in the Victorian era condo I used to have. It's so much nicer to open and close real wood doors versus zippers. I used to lock the closet doors with the original 1910 skeleton key locks.

The only problem with wood is the weight. Tents are good when you move around frequently.

Thank you guys!!

@ ion

No spreading of hemp smell is also important in my living area.
This wardrobe is later connected to the second cabinet. So I have a constant negative pressure in this and no smell can spread out. Rubber seal on the doors I mount later. :)

I absolutely agree with you. :)

The electrical system is installed.
Various wattages are available for the individual plant sizes.
The timer is programmed with the smartphone.... the closet runs so far.

The active supply air and exhaust air are connected later when I build the main cabinet for the flower. But that will take some time.

Happy building ...

jeebus! It looks like the Space Shuttle in there! you need to turn pro, seriously. legalization just happened here in Mass. and I know a guy doing consulting work on home grows.

He said all the clients are wealthy people who have not grown before, he charges them thousands to design & set up small grows with a little bit of teaching/coaching as well.

Many thanks starke and Muleskinner!

In this cabinet the table is a bit cold.

The new cuttings, fresh from the Cloner, I now place on a heating mat. The heating mat is located between two styrodur plates.

In the future, I will put the whole table on an insulation board.
