Great stuff from you as always Bom, I can feel im envious of the bare ground without snow.. We still have a couple of feet, altho its been warm and sunny so a lot of it has melted. Its pretty white covered everywhere still, but it doesnt look like its going to be a snow record year anymore. We can get dumped on in April sometimes, April has been mild the last 10 years tho, and this one looks to be mild aswell.

I can feel myself getting a little time distressed when I know you have prepared so much already.. Got your buckets tied in the trees and you know where to sow. My problem is that I live out on the outer coastline, and its very windy and wet here. Ill need to drive for an hour or two inland where its dryer and it gets warmer in summer aswell. Its in the inner part of the sheltered fjords that the old pine forests are, out here by the coast the landscape is dominated by crooked arctic birch tree forests mostly that dont give much windshelter from the ocean winds. These coastal birch forests are quite open. In the inner parts of the fjords, the pine forests are much denser, very very dense vegetation that one has to figth ones way through. Ill take pics of how dense they are this summer. Infact I may have some pics on the computer ill look them up for everyone.
I need the car back on the road to go inland and stake out some spots, also hopefully drag some soil out while there is still a snowcover on a (pulk?)..

That water bong looks very familiar by the way hehehe, ive made a few that looks similar :D Speaking of water bongs and being time trapped by the way, funny you should say that. Ill let you deeper into the dark abyss of my mind. But warning im a lost cause, im in the sky overthinking life, staring at plants and pondering about the stars when I know perfectly well I should be working and buying new cars and big screen TV's and whatnot. Getting a house loan and buy a place close to my family. Kids wife, volvo all that.

Im thinking Ill do that, ive done that I was on that path for a long time, 10 hour days at work, carloan and apartment close to work. 2 jobs to save for whatever I needed. But right now, its like time stands still. I dont have no loans, the car is old and not working, but im not stressed because I dont have to get up tomorrow morning. I work when it suits me, often nights and weekends, perfect. I dont have a TV, cant remember last time I watched TV and I dont miss it for a second.. or honestly I have 3 TV's neither is hooked up. Living cheap in an oldl rented house with a boathouse and a flagpole in an idyllic fjord with eagles overhead and whales and wildlife around me. Cash coming easy, all the herb I can be bother to smoke, :D..
Cheap ticket to Spain where my friends have rented a villa if id want to, but I couldnt care.. Im thinking fuck that, night now ive captured time itself, im holding it. The possibilities, I mean the possibilities is what its all about. Should I go to Svalbard for example and seek fortune there, or to Varanger. I mean for the sake of all my friends at home with 5 million house loans, for the sake of all the people thats chained to a desk somewhere. Im 29, ive got to live it up one more year. I had the fish me pop and sis caught the other day for dinner today. Sun was shining all day, I slept the whole day away, couldnt care less. I thought about how beautiful that fish was, wondering if heaven to fish is what is above the water?

This is my moment, its time to sow, sowing is even better then harvesting. The possibilities, what will come from the seed? The anticipation and expectation, the hope.
Fuck it guys, listen, ive captured time and ill pass it on to you guys before I go off to chase it yet again. Listen..

We remember the snake of time in the garden of Eden, now the ace of spades.. the death card? Well not quite correctly the death card, its the time card.. for those that plays poker, is there a difference between diamonds for example and spades? Oh yes it is, the ace of spades is very powerful if played right... The time card! Another character that is closely linked to time is Chronos or Saturn.
A character which is closely related to time, Saturn and Chronos is the reaper. The grim reaper if you will. In the Bible he appears in the presence of the character Cain who is the son of Adam and Eve. So in the garden of eden story, time is what tricked A&E and E gave birth to the son of time, the controller of time.. Cain. Abel died of old age. It is said that the Hebrew name of cannabis is "Kaneh Bosm". Supposedly given such a name because it was grown by Cain and presented to the lord as an offering which the lord rejected. My man bombadil said something very clever the other day, that the reason why the lord rejected Cains offerings has to do with mortality.

The time card... for poker players, understanding the essence of the powers of the cards could make them rich, math alone will not do it. Neither will I teach them hehehe...

The moral of the A&E story goes much deeper then drawing the conclusions that weed is bad, which is what many what I call "superficially" religious people easily do. This my friend is why we have the ban today, because in the eyes of certain religions directions, the harvester or peasant is a lowly evil creature linked to satan (saturn).

Have you noticed how we have no time in our lives? Doesnt it feel like a carousel that just goes faster and faster? All the time we have is taken from us, its lack of influence from Saturn in our lives. We think we get older with the years, but we die younger for each year.
Saturn!!

There we go then, the religious lesson we are taught from the weed ban is time management?

Why do we love spending loads of time looking at cannabis plants, the shape is familiar to us, its the time flower! The cannabis teaches us about time, we water, schedule, sow and harvest. Time is balance and harmony.

Chronos.jpg

Saturn is depicted as an old man with a long beard to symbolize that he is the oldest, holding a scythe and notice the timeglass he holds in his hand... You may also recognize him as Santa Claus that comes to bring you presents. Christmas is also harvest feast!
Who out there doesnt believe in Santa anymore? Ohh you best believe in santa kids, he comes from the north pole and he knows if you are good or bad lololol...

Im just leaving ICMag a little to ponder Bom, thats why these long posts. Seems people are so busy these days from lack of time that they forgot us, (they forgot about Dre' ;)) Im just reminding them about Tore Hund!! There is too much ranting about these shadowboxing modern politicians these days. Im reminding everyone about the 69, how they came from the north.. about 1969!!

Do you remember guys? Who were they?.. who are "they"? Everyone is talking about "them".. who "them"? .. The ones who left you brainfucked and in remorse! ... what now?

I want to sing it actually.. other do it better tho: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbkeG3hW9ZQ&feature=related

This time of the year the hobbypyromaniac inside me really gets a thrill. Lots of fields with dry old grass to burn so that the new sprouts can get a headstart.

Good too hear that you are doing well. he he. Love your aim as always:bow:.
Good luck with the car. I have very positive experiences with: old asian car, new battery ,and loads of spirit(kondensfjerner) in the petroltank myself.
Bachelor parties are great!
Marriage is :grouphug:uhhhh .....usually atleast. Depends on the woman, not the man ofcourse.......:headbange coming from the biggest slipperhero of all ofcourse.

:wave:Hey again peasantman and all of y'all.

I've gotten some stuff done theese last days. Got one hole ready today. I've also bought alot of soil and put them on four different spots. I got a new shovel too.

The homebox is up, but not running. Once I got it up though, I just had to pop some seeds. It was an immediate urge. I know it's early though. We will see. started 10 seeds og the kinds shown on pic. Will have them in my legal garden until the homebox is finnished. which is soon I hope.

I don't know if I can use the hole i dug though, because I got a real wake up call today. Right after I was finnished diggin I saw a car coming towards me. I hid the soil, leca, chicken pellets and shovel real fast. 'The spot is inside and old army compound. The guy that came drove straight towards me. He asked me what Business I had there. There's only two guys watching over a huge area, so I was pretty unlucky being spotted. Luckily I had a planned excuse... I have never been so happy to have just that, because that's what stopped him from going down to see what I was doing.(I walked towards him when we came, and he couldn't see the hole from where we were standing) I told him that I had a special interest in old bikes(bullshit) and that I had seen theese old bikes, and wondered if I could take them(you can see some of the bikes in the pic.). His suspicion towards me suddenly flew away like leaves dancing in the winds of fall... uhhhh bad metaphor..... But they did. The bad thing is that I have to go get me a bike or two too not seem suspicios.... I felt like a 10 year old that had been caught doing something really bad though. My heart pounding like crazy. Gonna be more careful from now on.

I will probably put a plant or two or three in the one whole I dug though. Was planning to use 150 litres with soil there but only used about 30 before I was interrupted. It was a good spot if it hadn't been for that guy.....

In a while crocodile......

Bomsebilete009-8.jpg

I've always used the papertowel method to cannabis seeds with, but for the first time I have just put them in soil and watered like I do with all my other seedkinds. Why not? Excited too see if the germ rate is just as good as with papertowels though.....

She's had twins since last i met her, whole different situation from when we were kids and running about naturally. I think they are good together, theyve been together for quite some time.

The bachelor party hehe, we used to be a pretty rowdy bunch back in the school days, havent hit the city with this gang in oh its years actually. I have no idea how its going to progress, im not even sure who is going to be there. But I bet im going to be the only one without a morgage and couple of kids :D Oh no actually when I think about it there is going to be a cpl of looseminded smoker types aswell that hasnt quite settled. Could be cool, could be crazy .. no idea, just looking forward to seing the old childhood friends together again because its been a long time.

sweet bro, thanks for the pictures.. hearing you havent used your skis yet gives me somewhat of a better conscience regarding not having been skiing much myself this winter. There is still time to go skiing tho, i still intend to pull the soil to my spots on a pulk.

Its just that damn car has to go on the road first.. its been snowing some today by the way but ive put my mind at ease with that its going to be a warm summer this year. The old folks say its going to be a warm summer. The birds (skjura) are building the nests high this year they say so its going to be a warm summer hehhe.

The seeds can withstand quite low temperatures by the way, so I dont think it will be a problem that you started a little early. just I heard someone on norcan say that be careful if you set them out in may because they may start to flower and then go back into vegative cycle in june.

peace mate, thanks a bunch for sharing the pics and stories with us..

Keep up the good work. :)

hey highhead mate, thanks for dropping in

You got the idea my friend, that right there is hyperborea!! I cant describe hyperborea any better then that picture right there.

Fantastic pictures, the Andes mountains are really something. Amazing that is almost 4000meters over the sealevel. Id love to take a dip in that water

:blowbubbles:

Ive got to go see the Andes some time, we had an exchange student from Equador live at my fam's place back in the day when I was still in school. Myself I went to USA a year later. Anyway, he used to talk about the rainforest and the galapagos and all that, ever since its been in the back of my head that id like to go to South America. Ohwell we will see what life brings us ;)

Blessings my brother, thanks for sharing your Hyperborea with us

I wont lie and say this volcanic eruption on Iceland isnt slightly worrying with this summers growing season in mind. It just so happens that alot of the clouds from the volcano is going to spread over Norway. The winds usually blow in our direction due to the gulf stream.

I really hope it doesnt affect this summers weather. Immediately after the eruption, the weather has turned very cold ... Wonder if there is a correlation.

So this just may be some shit, worst case is if that bigger volcano awakens aswell.

arcticsun, I have been thinking of you since I heard the news of the ash clouds from the volcano. Think that all that ash will make for great soil-amendment though :D

hopefully it will calm down soon.

btw, if I'm still around these parts when you decide to visit the Andes, I'll take you to the place in the pics :) if not, I'll have someone else take you for sure.

much peace!

Yeah lets hope, altho the big volcano Hekla is due to erupt this year aswell. It has erupted every 10 years since the 70s. 1970,80,91,2000..

The ash dont quite reach us up here i think, I guess Bom is hit harder from the ash clouds then me. He may tell us about it next time he drops in..

hide the women! :biglaugh:

sadly though, I have been planning to move for a while now, since my country has been over-taken by the Dark-Side; this used to be beautiful place, but now it is more like Mordor... gotta get out for a while if possible, take deep breaths, recover energies, and come back later on to see what can be done with refreshed mind-set.

we need all the vikings causing rockus we can get eventually, to exorcise all the bad juju floating around.

more violent deaths by firearm here each week than in any other country in the whole world, included Iraq. fucking a...

Damn brother, it hurts to hear about your situation, it must be a devastating time for you if you are thinking about leaving your country. My thoughts are with you my friend.

I can only tell you, that if you ever loose your faith, and find yourself in despair.. lost for purpose in life and self destructive.

Then come see me my brother, I mean that, the world will make sense when you see it from this angle. There is a deep sense of primal peace here that will nullify you.

Our thoughts are with you and your peeps in these times brother, keep your faith, there is relief in your friends. Bless you bro!

Led Zeppelin - Stairway to heaven

There's a lady who's sure
All that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven

When she gets there she knows
If the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
And she's buying a stairway to heaven

There's a sign on the wall
But she wants to be sure
'Cause you know sometimes words have
Two meanings

In a tree by the brook
There's a songbird who sings
Sometimes all of our thoughts are
Misgiven

Ooh, it makes me wonder

Ooh, it makes me wonder

There's a feeling I get
When I look to the west
And my spirit is crying
For leaving

In my thoughts I have seen
Rings of smoke through the trees
And the voices of those
Who stand looking

Ooh, it makes me wonder

Ooh, it really makes me wonder

And it's whispered that soon
If we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason

And a new day will dawn
For those who stand long
And the forests will
Echo with laughter

Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, ooh, whoa, oh

If there's a bustle in your hedgerow
Don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean
For the May queen

Yes, there are two paths you can go by
But in the long run
There's still time to change
The road you're on

And it makes me wonder

Aw, uh, oh

Your head is humming and it won't go
In case you don't know
The piper's calling you to join him

Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow?
And did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind?

(Solo)

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The truth will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll

And she's buying a stairway
To heaven...

Latest news from the volcano eruption is that there is no sign of it calming down. This will very likely influence the weather in certain regions of Norway this summer if it continues. Last eruption lasted for 18 months. Also its said that usually this volcano triggers the much bigger volcano Katla to awaken. This one is greatly feared and legendary on Iceland.

I am so far north that I dont get hit as hard as Bom for example by the debrie.

Its not a good situation for our Icelandic brothers and sisters that has experienced the worst decade in modern history with bankrupsy and financial ruin of the country. Now this eruption, it must surely take its toll on the good people of the sagas. Icelandics however have the great ability to see the light in the end of the tunnel always. Its something that is common for all the northern cultures that strive against the elements. I know my neighbors like that, they are best when under pressure, their good sides are most visible when it looks the gloomyest. A kind of unconditional optimism when it looks the worst. Illustrated quite well by seeing them try to live off farming in a place that has no trees. That sais it all really about Icelandics.

Despite all the bad things however, when this eruption is over and the storm calms. Many people will get their eyes open to Iceland again. There will be a boom in tourism etc, I know I will go there to see as soon as I can.

Check out this picture from the erupting volcano

I dont know where to start in response to all things you have written about auto's, breeding, growing, orgin, religion, life. Im 10 yrs older then you have the wife and a child(which has changed my life for the better) My daughter was born with a genetic disorder making me appreciate every moment of every day. She's awsome and healthy just Unique. But caring for her made me realize my passion for legal gardening(which you posted about) I luv growing anything, caring for, respecting, and trying to understand it. It's what i do it's what made me real and more honest and happy then I ever could imagine. Which when I got the mortgage haha. I was able to grow for the first time never realizing growing up in Boston I could of been doing all along especialy with the autos. Been smoking for over 25 yrs and now my passion has turned towards watching it grow and smoking of course what I grew it is very powerful.

Your passion is clear.

It's very inspiring.

it's amazing how much you can think, do and feel without all the distractions, but I must say sometimes when you start thinking about mortg. volvo wife kids whatever don't it will all happen the way its suppose to. lifes Journey.

By the way you might get lucky like me and find a wife that doesn't mind your Garden even tho she dont smoke.

only breed lr2's for seed and find all your efforts very interesting. currently growing 2 lr2's and 4 Sativas the experience I really enjoy. 2 Thaixskunk and 1 g13xhaze and my fav. because of the mystery of it is a bag seed from the island of Antigua.

well again thanks you educate, inform, inspire, and upset some I'm sure.
