Seems like you have woken up from your hibernatus Arctic. GREAT!. Something good to read when i wake up early in the morning. I've been busy with easterbunnies and fam. stuff but will get back on track soon. Still haven't built my homebox, but atleast I have gotten it.

Nice poem. Seems like you have a lot of strings to play at. Liked the ending:

Then we harvest truth as peace!

Just like the Dalai Lama fighting for Tibetan Freedom. Chinese fighting with military and propaganda. Tibetans fighting with Truth and Non-Violence.

"Our only weapon is the truth" - The dalai lama.

See ya later ev.

Hehe thanks for the props:D. Ive awakened from the slumber indeed my friend. Ill have to be so bold as to add to the good dalai lamas words with my own

Dalai Lama said:
Our only weapon is the truth

.. The only truth is honesty, the only honesty is belief. If one lies to oneself one has no belief, then there is no honesty, no truth and one is defenseless. <--arcticsun---<<

(btw i mean belief as in certainty of reason)

End of the day, I just have my honesty, its what my friends judge me by. Its the only truth I know, that is also what the end of the poem is about.

The green patch in the sky is the northern lights but also the return of the flora and forests to the arctic, the midgard serpent is time, the color indigo is all of us indigo children. The red sun is the "fall" (double meaning falling and fall the season) of the 9-4 lifestyle of stressing around like mindless drones. The king is the great authority and establishment we refer to as a state or a religion or whatever one holds to blame for ones mistakes.

Hope that gives the poem a little more "je ne sais pas?" to it ;)

Back to reality, have you sown yet? Its probably too soon still? Its real warm and spring'ish up north now in the Easter, we have had sunny and +5-+10 the last week or so. Lots of snow has melted, its dripping everywhere, im ecstatic about it even if I know that we will get more snow later in april but at least its not looking like a snow record year anymore. Thank the heavens for that, it would not have been good for my project. From old days its said that whatever weather we have had today, thats the type of weather that will dominate the weather in the spring and summer. Its been real sunny and warm here today, and I cant help myself from being a little superstitiously inclined to believe in these old weather signs. Afterall the peeps up north were said to be weather controllers in the epics.

My car has become visible again from under the snow lolol. Just have to get the plates back on it and get a new battery in there.
Itll be good to get the old heap back on the road, ive been tempted to buying a mitsu l300 4x4 because they're so cheap and versitile. But seeing the old heap come out from under the snow, its a pretty descent car afterall, would be a shame to just scrap it. I think its got 2 more years in it if I do some minor things and get the EU ok on it. The signs were taken off it when it was due for EU control last time because a piece of the rear bumper was torn off and there was a dent in the rear that made it hard to replace. The dmg was there when I bought it, thats why it was real cheap in the first place. Me, pop and the bro in law fixed it up, pulled the dent out and changed the rear bumper. Sprayed some paint on there and it looks good as "new" now. Need a new battery, itll cost a thousand or 2. (NOK-local currency) for the batt, and 3-4-5 thou' for the govt taxes and insurance. Approx 5k NOK or 500Euros to get it legally on the road w all the papers I reccon.

Think ill throw that twenty thou' the L300 would have cost me in a small boat and a hanger for the summer. Like max a 14 foot with a 6hp or 9,9hp would be fine, I could cruise the big freshwater lakes and go with the boat to spots that arent accessible for people with car to plant there. Id want a boat big enough for 4 grown men max, but light enough to handle off and on the hangar with 2 peeps. Same time I could use it for fishing :D Ive got a "naust" .. a boathouse. Its old and not very big, but itll hold a couple of 20 foot boats I reccon.
Some stretches of coastline are completely unaccessible by car here, would be great spots for planting some autos.

Peace bro, dw, ill get off my trippy mumbeling about the epics and with the poems and whatnot.. lets call this an easter update special :D

You are writing really long and informative posts atm. philosophical aswell. I really enjoy reading them. I'm timetrapped so I will have to be kind of short. Pictures say a thousand words they say, and also if i write too much, Nellakman wont't read it.

Haven't started sowing yet, but not long now. 1-2 weeks. I have started building my setup up on that roof under a roof. Building a growroom myself was too timeconsuming. Egocentric of me too spend all that time on myself, so I just put up a Homebox.

Also I am looking for good spots all the time. They seem to be hard too find. Alot of deer and sheep. I can't get too far astray either, cause then I won't have time to take care of them.

This spot will house about 20 plants though. Had 5 there last year. Not very much sun there, but the place is easy to get too and pretty stealth.
Bomsebilete026-1.jpg

This is a new spot I intend too use. Very warm and sunny place. Kind of public but I guess that will have to go.
Bomsebilete018-4.jpg

I found myself out of rollingpaper and had to build a pipe. I usually smoke joynts, but when I was younger waterpipe was the preffered tool. This bong is as good as any bong you can buy from the store(in my opinon ofcourse). I have smoked a ton of bongs, but I always get back to this kind.

You need:

-half litre bottle of coke
-Ribbed maglight torch
-screen. (It's in your tap)
-lighter
-water
-Toiletpaper carboard thing
-Half of a sheet of toiletpaper to use as filter.
-tape to put around the toiletpapercardboardthing and bottle

The key to get a tight pipe is to burn a small hole with your lighter where youre gonna put the maglight in. Be a little careful once its in place. If it moves around it is not tight.
Also burn a chocke at the top.

Great stuff from you as always Bom, I can feel im envious of the bare ground without snow.. We still have a couple of feet, altho its been warm and sunny so a lot of it has melted. Its pretty white covered everywhere still, but it doesnt look like its going to be a snow record year anymore. We can get dumped on in April sometimes, April has been mild the last 10 years tho, and this one looks to be mild aswell.

I can feel myself getting a little time distressed when I know you have prepared so much already.. Got your buckets tied in the trees and you know where to sow. My problem is that I live out on the outer coastline, and its very windy and wet here. Ill need to drive for an hour or two inland where its dryer and it gets warmer in summer aswell. Its in the inner part of the sheltered fjords that the old pine forests are, out here by the coast the landscape is dominated by crooked arctic birch tree forests mostly that dont give much windshelter from the ocean winds. These coastal birch forests are quite open. In the inner parts of the fjords, the pine forests are much denser, very very dense vegetation that one has to figth ones way through. Ill take pics of how dense they are this summer. Infact I may have some pics on the computer ill look them up for everyone.
I need the car back on the road to go inland and stake out some spots, also hopefully drag some soil out while there is still a snowcover on a (pulk?)..

That water bong looks very familiar by the way hehehe, ive made a few that looks similar :D Speaking of water bongs and being time trapped by the way, funny you should say that. Ill let you deeper into the dark abyss of my mind. But warning im a lost cause, im in the sky overthinking life, staring at plants and pondering about the stars when I know perfectly well I should be working and buying new cars and big screen TV's and whatnot. Getting a house loan and buy a place close to my family. Kids wife, volvo all that.

Im thinking Ill do that, ive done that I was on that path for a long time, 10 hour days at work, carloan and apartment close to work. 2 jobs to save for whatever I needed. But right now, its like time stands still. I dont have no loans, the car is old and not working, but im not stressed because I dont have to get up tomorrow morning. I work when it suits me, often nights and weekends, perfect. I dont have a TV, cant remember last time I watched TV and I dont miss it for a second.. or honestly I have 3 TV's neither is hooked up. Living cheap in an oldl rented house with a boathouse and a flagpole in an idyllic fjord with eagles overhead and whales and wildlife around me. Cash coming easy, all the herb I can be bother to smoke, :D..
Cheap ticket to Spain where my friends have rented a villa if id want to, but I couldnt care.. Im thinking fuck that, night now ive captured time itself, im holding it. The possibilities, I mean the possibilities is what its all about. Should I go to Svalbard for example and seek fortune there, or to Varanger. I mean for the sake of all my friends at home with 5 million house loans, for the sake of all the people thats chained to a desk somewhere. Im 29, ive got to live it up one more year. I had the fish me pop and sis caught the other day for dinner today. Sun was shining all day, I slept the whole day away, couldnt care less. I thought about how beautiful that fish was, wondering if heaven to fish is what is above the water?

This is my moment, its time to sow, sowing is even better then harvesting. The possibilities, what will come from the seed? The anticipation and expectation, the hope.
Fuck it guys, listen, ive captured time and ill pass it on to you guys before I go off to chase it yet again. Listen..

We remember the snake of time in the garden of Eden, now the ace of spades.. the death card? Well not quite correctly the death card, its the time card.. for those that plays poker, is there a difference between diamonds for example and spades? Oh yes it is, the ace of spades is very powerful if played right... The time card! Another character that is closely linked to time is Chronos or Saturn.
A character which is closely related to time, Saturn and Chronos is the reaper. The grim reaper if you will. In the Bible he appears in the presence of the character Cain who is the son of Adam and Eve. So in the garden of eden story, time is what tricked A&E and E gave birth to the son of time, the controller of time.. Cain. Abel died of old age. It is said that the Hebrew name of cannabis is "Kaneh Bosm". Supposedly given such a name because it was grown by Cain and presented to the lord as an offering which the lord rejected. My man bombadil said something very clever the other day, that the reason why the lord rejected Cains offerings has to do with mortality.

The time card... for poker players, understanding the essence of the powers of the cards could make them rich, math alone will not do it. Neither will I teach them hehehe...

The moral of the A&E story goes much deeper then drawing the conclusions that weed is bad, which is what many what I call "superficially" religious people easily do. This my friend is why we have the ban today, because in the eyes of certain religions directions, the harvester or peasant is a lowly evil creature linked to satan (saturn).

Have you noticed how we have no time in our lives? Doesnt it feel like a carousel that just goes faster and faster? All the time we have is taken from us, its lack of influence from Saturn in our lives. We think we get older with the years, but we die younger for each year.
Saturn!!

There we go then, the religious lesson we are taught from the weed ban is time management?

Why do we love spending loads of time looking at cannabis plants, the shape is familiar to us, its the time flower! The cannabis teaches us about time, we water, schedule, sow and harvest. Time is balance and harmony.

Chronos.jpg

Saturn is depicted as an old man with a long beard to symbolize that he is the oldest, holding a scythe and notice the timeglass he holds in his hand... You may also recognize him as Santa Claus that comes to bring you presents. Christmas is also harvest feast!
Who out there doesnt believe in Santa anymore? Ohh you best believe in santa kids, he comes from the north pole and he knows if you are good or bad lololol...

Im just leaving ICMag a little to ponder Bom, thats why these long posts. Seems people are so busy these days from lack of time that they forgot us, (they forgot about Dre' ;)) Im just reminding them about Tore Hund!! There is too much ranting about these shadowboxing modern politicians these days. Im reminding everyone about the 69, how they came from the north.. about 1969!!

Do you remember guys? Who were they?.. who are "they"? Everyone is talking about "them".. who "them"? .. The ones who left you brainfucked and in remorse! ... what now?

I want to sing it actually.. other do it better tho: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbkeG3hW9ZQ&feature=related

He he. I'll admit that my "je ne sais pais" was i little bit different, but mine was good too!

The mother of a friend of mine said: "Art is something you are supposed to experience, not understand."(someone else probably said that too, but I heard it from her)

I can feel myself getting a little time distressed when I know you have prepared so much already.. Got your buckets tied in the trees and you know where to sow.

Not at all true my friend. Still have one more tree to fill with buckets. Haven't prepared any groundspots yet, but atleast i have somewhere where I intend to sow. I don't even have an indoorgrowspot ready yet! As stated above, I am in a timetrap, so not much time for prepaparation..... I do however do a little bit every day! and that actually matters, because suddenly it's too late.....

THE FIRST FUCKING THING YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO GET YOUR BLOODY CAR ON THE ROAD!

Then you can start searching for perfect growspots. The perfect growspot is in my opinion is:
-A place with good conditions(sunnny).
-Not timeconsuming to get too.
-A place where there is almost no chance of getting caught.

I'm thinking a sunny place on a mountainface where most people won't ever go. prefferably
on a platou. I've got some climbing skills, but most people don't, so it has to be a little climb to get to that central, sunny place. If I can find a place like that, I could put 100 plants up there, and not having to climb trees and visit all my small spots....

I thought that i found something that looked good in the middle here:

Bomsebilete035.jpg

The climb up was "sketchy but safe".

Bomsebilete029-2.jpg

The place turned out to be too close to a farm, but other than that, it was perfect.
The search continues......

This hawk was cirkling above me the whole time when i was climbing. it made the whole trip more exciting. I love nature.

Babylon babylon.. Don't go to work today or do anything you should do just by the pressure of society!

I think in the end everybody falls to their own vices, the rich becomes poor because he forgets how to work for a livng.. that type of thing. If one is big bad and violent, one is bound to meet someone one day thats either scared shitless and just shoots you or someone bigger and even mader... Something in that order.. I believe in karma and balance.. I believe in 69 ;)

In a cosmic order sort of way, not saying all murderers get caught, but a murder is due to cause a person to take certain choices which is going to influence ones life. One is bound to offload some of that baggage on to ones kids, who carries it subconsciously ..etc .. like a rolling stone :D

Thanks for bringing in a perspective by the way, Its always nice to hear other peoples views on things.

Ahh she is and you are naturally correct, ive weakened the possibilities for the poem to be more then what I put into it from my puny perspective.

.. but then again im no poet, im but a simple peasant ;)

Not at all true my friend. Still have one more tree to fill with buckets. Haven't prepared any groundspots yet, but atleast i have somewhere where I intend to sow. hehehe yes indeed, I learned that lesson last year when I didnt have seeds until it was too late hehehe...

Dont worry too much tho, ive got a plan that im acting on . Im quite dedicated when I first set my mind to things.. they have a tendency to come along maybe not exactly to plan, but atleast they come through... :D hehehe

The general areas for the spots are staked out from last year already, I know the local area very well, I know where the snow melts earliest and where it gets warmest in the summer. Spent quite some time last year studying the flora to se which areas holds which type of flora.
Ive been studying local weather statistics and ive arranged for a place at a friends house who lives close to the prospected growing areas where I can sprout the beans so I dont have to drive with loads of plants in the car. It could be risky incase of a control.

So.. A certain number (ill not name exactly how many) general areas are selected as growing areas, All I need to do is find the exact spot within these areas. Mind you this is mostly wilderness, a couple of hillsides ive selected are overhanging roads but I dont think it will be difficult to find spots. Its so desolate up here.

Basically ive got it all covered, ive got the nutes, they have arrived.. I have the beans and ive got a plan..

All thats needed is ....
THE FIRST FUCKING THING YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO GET YOUR BLOODY CAR ON THE ROAD!

...Exactly, dig the last bit of snow which is quite a bit still btw, off the car and get that fucking heap on the road again. Ill go buy a battery tomorrow is the plan. Im fully panicked about getting the car on the road because im seeing the first seatrout fishermen around and about already. Ive got some new spots that I want to fish this year... im all exited about them.. all we do up here in the winter is sit around and tell fishing stories (lies), naturally one ends up hearing about some lake or some spot where the big ones are.. I know a million such spots that I want to visit.

Then you can start searching for perfect growspots. The perfect growspot is in my opinion is:
-A place with good conditions(sunnny).
-Not timeconsuming to get too.
-A place where there is almost no chance of getting caught.

I had pictured

I LOVE the picture of the hawk, predatory birds in especially, im very fascinated by them. What powerful creatures, comes diving down in 200kmh from the sky and WHAMMO grabs its prey. Hurts to be a bunny in Norway hehe..

I have been thinking the exact same thing regarding growspots, most of the terrain up here is like in the pictures you showed. Steep mountainsides that most people cba to climb... I know a couple of valleys where the treeline is over 1000 meters. That shelf up on the hillside there looks nice indeed, I can see why you went to investigate it.

Ill show you a little from my habitat and climatic challenges everyone, Its damn late now, ill do that next update. Ill be sowing tomatoes and chilies soon btw bom, its a bit winter'y here still tho. It will be a month atleast until I can put them outside.

Peace all, thanks for staying with me and thanks for posting up guys :tiphat: ..to be continued..

As I was saying, its coming along, bought that battery I was talking about for the car.. The nutes are some huge frigging buckets, I can sow a whole field with this hehe.. Im glad I didnt order the big buckets from abroad as I was thinking I would do.

Ive had a couple of male to female hermies in the pehkuruders by the way. Only male to female tho, but there were very few females in this batch. I wonder what has caused it? The pehkies seems to start out male, and switch to female as soon as they start flowering. They shoot a single undeveloped male shoot in the beginning before turning completely female. I have 3 such pure pehkuruders, and ive also picked up the trait in a cheese/ssh/pehkuruder male that sprouted quite a few male shoots before turning fully female.

I was stupid enough to chop down this male to female herm in disappointment before I realized that the male was fully automatic in the F1 generation as it had been standing under 24h light. It had started dropping pollen from its male shoots and I was thinking i better get it out before it jizzed out the place. I was only now on afterthought I realized the M to F had fully started to flower under 24h light from a 250w hps.

Now I regret it, I should have saved the plant and used it for experiments. It was the fastest and largest of all the plants in the whole F1 generation, im a moron!!! I am a giga moron!! Convince myself I think I know what im doing and then I go and ruin my chance of actually learning something on a whiff of emotion.

Ill go snap a picture of the victim..

Heres a pic in the meantime, nutes, car battery.. new shovel to dig the car out and a male to female pure pehkuruder.

Nature sure IS strange bro..

Been having some very educational talks with some very inspirational and clever gentlemen today ..

In short ive realized im digging myself a shallow grave with my breeding projects. But then again there is that stubbornness in me..

Its raining like hell the last few days, just barely over freezing temperatures still but the snow is quickly disappearing...
Springtime before all the snow is gone is a time I really dont mind some heavy rain, that just means the stuff goes quicker..

In short ive realized im digging myself a shallow grave with my breeding projects. But then again there is that stubbornness in me..

That's just the way things go, and in some years you may find that you were not digging yourself a shallow grave afterall.

It's always better to do something than not do anything, I usually say. Eventhough I love not doing anything aswell.... But that rarely happens theese days.......

What I mean by this, is that you learn as long as you live and that you are creating your way along the way and all that other philosophical shit.

I don't know, just trying to comfort you i guess because I really like your aim at the project and the project itself.

I don't really think you are that stubborn either, because if you were, you would never have admitted to be wrong....(if thats's what you did).

Hope you have a great day my man. I'll update you on my progress later on.

Thanks for the nice words of support Bom  You are naturally right in all you say :D hehe no worries my friend some dark humor is just the way we work up here...
Naturally I have no problems with admitting im wrong, I would get no help from my good friends the breeders whom I respect very much. So what im a little oppinionated and get slapped a few times, it only serves to harden me in the long run.. takes a few to knock me out tho. I dont really have anything personally riding on any of what im doing, im doing it for my friends and my local community that is terrorized by the dry rock and powder mafia...
There is no commercial outlet in mind :D But still you know, im a Haaloyg, we either aim for the stars or we dont bother. You saw the madness with the olympics plans and the melody grand prix plans lolol.. completely unrealistic, but we still made a fuzz :D Ive got all that madness in my back propping me up and that helps..
Men når det e sagt.. så mellom mæ å dæ så skal vi lage litt plass tel nån fler norske i det gode selskap ;)
