Hey kallen, ill get an update up soon, I think the deformations is caused by the conditions in the house actually. I dont think you will be bothered by them. I have plenty of other strains going aswell, you are right. Ive got TAK3, SSH f2 and Snowdog Bx2 going in one room, ill get some pics up of those for you. That room is a classic arcticsun grow, big girls and big buds thats tied to the roof :D I was going to hold off on that update until I could slap some giga buds in your face... whammo :D But ill get pics up after Ive fed them later today.

Hey Thecheeseman  Thanks for the props, k+ I think there is x1 pack of cheese/SSH still for sale on seedbay at fritillary seeds. I may do another cheese/ssh run in not so long. -blessings friend

Went ice fishing today with the family. I wish I could say I caught this fish but I didnt, the old man did hehe :D Naturally sis was the one to pose with it.

Im a dedicated sports fisher, this is the greatest of trophy fish in the sports fishing world as far as dry fly casting in fresh water is concerned atleast.. Its the arctic char, a fish in the salmon family. Naturally the kick is to get one twice this size on a fly in the summer. But look at the beauty of it, personally I think its the most beautiful of all fish. This is the winter color that they carry in freshwater, when they run out to sea they are called seachar and loose the red color in favor of a silver suit that makes them look very similar to a salmon or a seatrout while in the ocean. Except they keep the white striped fins.

Så la vi jorda under oss, mens vi glømte paradis
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPcCWMnB8-w&feature=related NOOORDAFØRR!!!!

The spring feeling in the air has come to the arctic. Its a primal feeling that comes over us, spring in the arctic.. it becomes evident to me that this is what it was like in the beginning. Life on earth started on the poles, it spread from the poles. Everything we know came from the poles, plants and mammal life started there and spread from there.

The original form of cannabis is the automatic one, you can stop looking for the origins and homeland of cannabis, it is not China, it is not India or Afghanistan. The motherplant is the automatic one, that is the original form of cannabis, all the other types developed from there.
Ive been saying this for some time, It usually kills a thread completely, as if some gigantic brain fart was stinking up the room.

The ruddies are promptly named "ditch weed", which I find hugely ironic. I personally propose that Cannabis Ruderalis should not be named so, but Cannabis Hyperborea as the other flora in the arctic carries the latin name hyperborea to define its habitat. Calling the motherplant of cannabis for "ditch weed" (ruderalis) is hardly appropriate imo.

In a world that is warmer and with a higher level of Co2 in the atmosphere, life in the arctic has an advantage because of the extra sunlight hours.

Today we are looking at the wrong places, and asking the wrong questions regarding the origins of cannabis. There is no use in searching for the oldest seed or pollen in ancient cultures. Its no use searching through scriptures when searching for the clues of the origins, scriptures that tells you to turn to mecca in the middle east when you worship GOD, as anyone with half a clue about religion knows that the heavens themselves rotates AROUND the north star!!! They then come to arctic Norway and profess im a sinner and a dog and that I should turn to their GOD, while sitting in the land of GOD himself they turn their back to him and turn to the rock they have raised as a demigod in Mecca. The same with the church, they come here to profess to me how we should turn our ways to the right faith, when they should rather ask me what is the right faith. The three wise men followed the north star to the savior!! Im no savior, but I know life sprung out of the arctic!
They bring me this book, did they read the fucking book they bring me? All these people that go to church, do they know where Zion is? Its not in the middle east! OOOO Jerusalem... how you are lead astray. :sasmokin:

Im honestly bored with the theocratic rule, im bored with the scientologists and im also bored with the so called authorities on cannabis studies today. Are they looking too closely at the plant itself and missing the big picture? How did they find out that ruderalis and indicas are closely related and make the conclusion that ruderalis is a result of feralization of indicas in northern climates?
Im no savior and im no scientist, but I still advice you all to stand on your heads when reading scientific references to cannabis, that goes for the resident cannabis gurus as well. Yeh, I said it!

In the arctic, no secrets remain hidden for long, the sun shines the light on everything. Ask my fellow countrymen and they will tell you that the peeps up in the way north will tell you things straight like it is, no ifs, buts or studdering about it. There may be those that is new to the thread, or have been following me for a while but not commenting on the madness because what im usually saying is just too mad to relate to. You may find comfort in that even in my homecountry us peeps in the way north are considered a bit off the ordinary. Rebels if you will

:pirate::pirate::pirate:

Rather then seeing the motherplant of cannabis treated as ditch weed by the socalled knowhows, id rather see it brought home to see a better treatment under the north star.. :pirate:

lol happy easter to you too peaty mate :D just ranting a bit today :D

Its bloody hard to portrait such a different perspective of looking at the cannabis as the one im trying to paint. But I remain steadfast in my convictions that working with cannabis from the perspective that its native to china or central asia will get you nowhere!

Ill link up some pictures from an outdoor grow north of the arctic circle for you guys...

Pictures from NorCan, Norwegian cannabis forums. Outdoor grow north of the true arctic circle, somewhere +66 North!! These pictures is to date the northernmost documented outdoor grow on cannabis on the internet.

Strains are Lowryder, Dieselryder and guerilla gold. The grower with the forum nickname "polargrow" left no information regarding the grow other then that it is somewhere north of the polar circle, other then that he posted only these pictures. I did not do this grow myself.

There are many more amazing pictures from this grow, notice also the mad trichome coverage and the well developed buds and size of the plants. You may also notice the wide leafs that these plants developed in this habitat. The indica and ruderalis is closely related, my prediction is that we will see madly potent fat leafed ruddies grown outdoors in north Norway in the years to come.

And I say again, this is way north of Nome, Alaska. Nome is at approximately the latitude of Trondheim, still south of the polar circle.

amazing! above the polar circle! :joint:

yeh bro, the climate in the polar regions of Norway is unique, its very different from the rest of the arctic. The fjords provides for sort of an accellerated greenhouse effect, locking in warm air under the cloudcover and providing isolated pockets of lush flora.

The fjords in the far north is like librarys of plant evolution as they hold pockets of remains of ancient populations of plant species that used to cover the area.

In reality this is north of the tundra, If I go southwards and inland, there is a large area of tundra before I get down to what is really the treeline which is today close to the polar circle. Only in Norway is the arctic this lush because of the gulf stream.

Stabbursdalen national park, worlds northernmost pine forest.

http://www.museumsnett.no/alias/HJEMMESIDE/stabbursnes/stabbursdalen_national_park.htm
Some 7 500 - 5 000 years ago when the climate was warmer, the pine forest spread far inland along the fjords and valleys. As it grew colder, the forest retreated and has only survived in sheltered valleys like Stabbursdalen, where it forms the world`s northernmost pine forest.

It is in these ancient remains of the hyperboreal forests that I intend to grow the autos. This is where im certain that they are native and will thrive.

grow them they have no Thc or cannabioder in them .
The Artic haze is doing great inside, i have two :jump: but many seeds left of it to another grow, they both nice dark green and they grow with a great speed i think ..Finx/pehkuruder is all up from the soil great germ rate on theese seeds pehkuruder is in gh they doing great allso but cuz of the cold weather they grow slow ..its still only a few degrees every night but in day time its from 9 -2 degrees

And one thing more my friend(maybe this is why the plant on the pics is so great to look at hehe mutant plants ) Norway have Slagger and a lots of it :) you guys got our oil , we all know that but then you allso got all garbage (some only know that ) we cant burn lol im so sorry my friend ...first they burn the garbage(in dk), the smoke will be clean cuz of a giant kul filters but in theese kulfiltere some stuff cant burn they call it slagger , they use it for kompostsoil og fix roads with, but some is toxic as hell ..the toxic shit they drive to Norway, then u guys sail it up in a small island and dump it down in a Kalk mine flere hundred meter under havets overflade (cuz that u guys allso have and here i dk they aint big/deep enough) ...Slaggeren er da blevet blandet med gibs MEEEN its still very toxic and it will knewer go away ...did u as a nordmand , know this ? Jeg tænker på om det er ting i for fortalt af nærliggende miljø center ????? jeg fik det fortalt da jeg var på rundvisning på et kraft varmeværk and i was shocked TOTALt its alot of slagger every day 20 % of 18 ton garbage pr hour :O and its just from one factory .

hehehe yeah accelerated greenhouse effect its kind of a love hate thing I guess :D The accelerated effect of the fjords is a natural one however so I cant complain about that at least.

Ill just make some potent autos, no problem :D Its mind over matter bro, im stubborn as fuck and I live much longer then that plant so I feel ive got the upper hand on it. Im sure we will get there, its a challenge and I quite like that.

Hehehe mossy says the plants resembles their breeders.. its a bit worrying :D

Here is the deposit facility on "langøya" in the Oslofjord..

img650x367.jpg

Some info about the facility..

General information about NOAH Langøya
NOAH receives and treats different kinds of hazardous waste and contaminated soil. All waste material is stabilized before being deposited below sea level in a former limestone quarry.

Besides being a modern industrial plant, NOAH is also responsible for the rehabilitation of the old limestone quarries and for rebuilding the island of Langøya to a safe and useful place.

Local and national authorities have expressed the intention to rebuild and recycle the island for future recreational purposes. The local population consider Langøya to be a valuable recreation area, now and in the future.
At Langøya NOAH is annually treating 300 000 – 400.000 tonnes of inorganic hazardous waste. In 2001 this included 90 000 tonnes waste containing mercury. According to NOAH’s in-house developed treatment method, inorganic hazardous waste is mixed with lime and gypsum and transformed into a chemically stable matrix.

The stabilized gypsum is deposited below sea level in old limestone craters and thus the wounds after 100 years of mining are being healed.
The industrial plant at Langøya is complying strictly with ISO 9001 and is also certified according to the EU EMAS-system. The organization consists of highly qualified personnel with a background in chemistry and other fields.

Stabilizing hazardous waste containing mercury
NOAH receives and treats different kinds of hazardous waste and contaminated soil. All waste material is stabilized before being deposited below sea level in a former limestone quarry.

Recycling waste sulphuric acid from the pigment industry mixed with limestone (extracted) from Langøya produces a special type of gypsum. This material absorbs heavy metals and mercury well.

The absorbing effects of this gypsum may be compared to amalgamation and reduces the solubility of mercury by 20-30 times.

Analyses of processwater from this treatment show low values for dissolved mercury – between less than 0,1 µg/L and 1 µg/L. This verifies the suitability of the method. In addition, the plant has its own water purificationsystem with total control of all water discharged to sea.
Many years with high pressure within the gypsum deposit has resulted in the mineralization of heavy metals and a reduction of permeability (Report from Norges Geotekniske Institutt, NGI). Several years of monitoring the stabilized gypsum has verified these positive effects.

This method also reduces the risk of methylmercury formation due to the strong absorbtion of mercury and the high content of alkali in the gypsum. (Report from NGI, Jan. 2001).

Waste from demolition and contaminated soil may also be shipped to Langøya, either by boat or truck (lorry). All waste received at NOAH is thoroughly analysed and tested for compability with the NOAH gypsum.
Analysis and monitoring processwater and surplus? surface water is made by NOAHs own laboratory.

The plan is to recycle the island to become a recreational area in the future with a small boat marina etc etc...
In the future it may look something like this, with its own laguna/marina and div facilities...

Fremtidens%20Langøya.jpg

For those not in the know, the Oslofjord in the summer is nice for the region climate wise with water that is quite pleasant to swim in. Watertemperatures in the Oslofjord midsummer can be up to 22 to 25 degrees C some places.. more commonly its atleast 18 degrees in the water in the Oslofjord in the summer. These small islands in the Oslofjord are used very actively by the locals who frequently take small excursions along the coastline to find undisclosed locations to sunbathe and picnic on. Such places are everywhere along the coastline, small beaches and islands that are often only reachable by boat. The Oslofjord is often referred to as the northern European riviera because of the scenic coastline, the active boat culture and the rather high priced standard of property in the area.
"Langøya" where the deposits are is even today one of the areas that is used as a recreational area by the locals as its known to be especially warm in the summers and it holds a special flora for the area.

Peace all, cant wait to see what this summer brings

Ill get to describing phenos soon, Im expecting trichomes in a week or two..

Cheese/SSh/Pehkuruder, Romulan Kush/LR, AK47/PKR and auto AK47 in this room..

Here is that unknown plant, Its either Snowdog bx2 or Sisu.. Whatever it is, its maaaadlooking!! Cant wait to smoke it.

picture.php

picture.php

picture.php

I took some cuts, they have rooted and started to grow, however they were taken some days into flowering so they have some pistils on them, looks like they will be revegging tho. Ill repot soon and give them loads of nutes. The taller ones in this picture below is the cuts from the plant above, the smaller ones is the infamous TAK2 which is the mother of the TAK3 from earlier in the thread. Im running a TAK3 atm, its the last of the TAK3 moms, im going to remake the TAK3 with the original TAK2 to a different father.

picture.php

Here is that last TAK3 mother, its way in the back of a room, closeups will have to wait until ill have to get close to her to work on her because there are some other large plants in the way. I like to give the plants peace and rest and not stressing them by moving them or touching them unnecessary. So I wont move anything around just to take pictures of it, itll have to wait until I can get close. However let me reassure you that the trichome coverage on the TAK3 is every bit as mad as the unknown plant above.

picture.php

Lastly here is the last of the SSH f2 freebie moms from fritillary seeds, she is throwing mad buddage and smells very mango fruity compared to the other phenos. This is the pheno that was most wide leafed of the bunch and she is much sweeter then the rest that had a more classic hazy lemony smell and flavor. This one reminds me of the Love Potion #1 kind of, that im coincidentally actually smoking right now..

Ill throw up some male pictures in a bit for ya, ive got like 10 fathers now

Ive been pondering about that unknown plant today and studying it, and ive come to the conclusion that it must be a Sisu.

It IS a sisu.. watch this...

The unknown plant which im now sure is a Sisu, Sisu= AK47/Finx

picture.php

This is the actual motherplant of the Sisu, the AK47 mother used in the cross.

And here is a FINX

and here is the Sisu again..

Im still worried that the sisu may throw nanners in late flowering as the Finx did.

The plant was given a name by a phrase from the Finnish language to honor the Finnish donors of the guerilla genetics that im working on ..

SiSU ("SiSU information Structuring Universe" or "Structured information, Serialized Units"), is a Unix command line-oriented framework for document structuring, publishing and search. ...

(....)

Sisu is a Finnish term translated into English as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. ...

Strength of will is exactly what the Fins showed when they held off the red army in the winter wars. The cross was therefor made from AK47 and Finx :D The "Finn'ished" strain will be given back to the Finnish community.

Its worth mentioning that there is part Fin in myself aswell so it serves only right I honor my heritage also. The name therefor represents many things, and im determined to remake the strain 5 times over if that is what it takes to get it hermie stabilized and give it back to the Fins.

Sisu is a term that is used to describe many things but its also.. Strength, Intelligence, System, Unity!

Hehe naming it by a footballer, would be a bit unlike me dont you think? :D Nah..

I always have to hide a duality or contradiction or sublime message in everything my friend. There will be enigmas in my work for everyone to ponder for a good while to come after I finish the hyperborea project and bugger off to leave everyone wondering wtf happened. In the names, in the genetic makeup of the crosses i make and in the things I say in every post there is always going to be a sublime factor. Such is the nature of the 69th line, :ying: .. 69 North brother!! We're square on the axis of believers!

Blessings bro

Some mindfuck for you good people out there, I feel sorry for those that stumbles upon my rantings at this point of my projects without any easing into my madness.

However, one gets nowhere in this life by being a squarehead, so lets drift my friends, way out of the beaten path.

The Muse of Hyperborea
Clark Ashton Smith

Too far away is her wan and mortal face, and too remote are the snows of her lethal breast, for mine eyes to behold them ever. But at whiles her whisper comes to me, like a chill unearthly wind that is faint from traversing the gulfs between the worlds, and has flown over ultimate horizons of ice-bound deserts. And she speaks to me in a tongue I have never heard but have always known; and she tells of deathly things and of things beautiful beyond the ecstatic desires of love. Her speech is not of good or evil, nor of anything that is desired or conceived or believed by the termites of earth; and the air she breathes, and the lands wherein she roams, would blast like the utter cold of sidereal space; and her eyes would blind the vision of men like suns; and her kiss, if one should ever attain it, would wither and slay like the kiss of lightning.

But, hearing her far, infrequent whisper, I behold a vision of vast auroras, on continents that are wider than the world, and seas too great for the enterprise of human keels. And at times I stammer forth the strange tidings that she brings: though none will welcome them, and none will believe or listen. And in some dawn of the desperate years, I shall go forth and follow where she calls, to seek the high and beatific doom of her snow-pale distances, to perish amid her indesecrate horizons.

The snake represents time in all tales of the epics my friends, its the true form of the great organism. A form is so easily bent .. cannabis is tall, short, automatic and evergreen/multiyear. its wide leaf and thin leaf.. it grows and has a number of different forms. Indistinguishable from eachother is the limits of what accounts for each form, in the end all cannabis is Cannabis Hyperborealis. In the end cannabis as a species is indistinguishable from some other plants in the plant kingdom thats closely related to it. The true form of the organism is that of the snake .. see the snake and its a hell of a lot easier to work with forms.

There is no limit but the limits put on by the mind to what we can do to Cannabis. Any flavor, any combination of cannabinoids in any form of the cannabis is possible.

The midgard serpent is the curse of time..

midgardsormen.jpg

I made a poem  Ill call it ..

"The Serpent" <---by arcticsun---<<

Consciously creating our reality, constantly,
continuously and instantly we manifest visuals.
The next level;
-A virtual, that mirrors limits!

Commanding then, the ground to walk,
my will, is stronger then the rock!
The thought, is lighter then the air!
It levitates over the sphere,
where it waves to me, down there.

That moment I became the truth,
fade away, yet regaining youth.
I've returned the sorrows and the worries,
I've held them safely, for the rightful owners.

Animating anonymous avatars,
Looking up for falling stars.
The animal in me becomes the wolf.
I call the pack, we run the woods.

The orders of the sorcerers surrounds your fortress,
you see them but its already hopeless.
Distress delivers icy cold shivers,
courtesy of the dream breeders.

Flashbacks so vivid,
escape from the prison.
My image clouds up your vision,
command you follow my mission!

I am the ancients,
I am the infants!
Deep in the mist,
the silhouette of a giant!

Marching down on Asa bay.
Morning fights to win the day.
Twilight lingers on the frey.
As the dusk leads you astray...

-The sun reminds us, of another way..
Indigo color covers sky.

Then in the clouds a patch of green,
behind a sight unseen.
We breed a little happy dream,
and things are as they've always seemed.

For on this patch, up in the clouds,
honesty is sown.
And there up on,
-the truth is grown!

When the sun returns as red,
the King lie on death bed.
The serpent threatens, a midgard beast!
Then we harvest truth as peace!
