sorry I am a bit late answering Merc as I was away for 3 nights but the aromas are complex as I have two other ones(orignal haze) and it is similar in taste and smell.. I would say its citrus and perfume with a incense but not church..thanks for asking and grow crazy

This was a brilliant cross my friend! The Alpine/Silk S comes in wave after wave of pure energy. Bouncing between the solar plex and the third eye has a tickle to it. All have the high with no stone, but selection is whether a person wants dumb energy or laser focus energy like you said. It's the other end of the spectrum from most of the A5 effects.A hybrid between Alpine Haze x Golli's Haze
It turned out to be something very good
The effect is the kind of herb that serves to improve the self
You feel a lot of energy, your thoughts are clear and there is a lot of concentration, and you feel so much energy that it is ideal for exercising definately i'll be working this cross little bit more in the future.
Really frosty sugary buds, no recommend for diabetic people lol

In hybrid crosses it tend to improve this effect but also lose itself in the process. I know you want to reselect the parents but I would say your current selection is still the best one currently out that is unadaltered for those wanting it more ohaze.. Dm. Love to hear what you have in mind next

These are Outback Haze plant I have run. Most all of the haze lines from Nevil have light green to red petioles. The freshly drawn blood in my line work is some of the more pronounced.
In the Outback hazes it goes to dark dried blood and even close to a black pitch on some. I would say my fresh blood even lightened up some of these.
Has anyone found this in the ohaze of have any thoughts on landrace origin that fits in the haze narrative?

I love a good mystery and I don't mind putting out theories to see what floats and what sinks.
I've grown out a lot of male C variations and outcrossing. To my disappointment but not because of what it was at one time before all that.
Of 5 JJ's Nigerian that used an original C5 male made by Nevil. Every single one of them has the classic leaf variation. A male C trait imo. The red petiole stem is there, but so is the light green leaf vain. That's about as red as they usually get.
Some of my selections are like a fresh murder scene but never as dark as what comes out of the Outback. I'll post those in a minute
So if Hempy is saying it doesn't come from Thai then maybe this is something Nevil remembers from male A...
It's also worth noting these traits when hunting through posi and other o haze.
Three different Nigerian silk x NL5/hazeC. The subtle variation on @StickyBandit find wood amplify if selected. Keep an eye on that one if it has the very lateral branching. It would also be interesting to find out what becomes that one.

In both my work and Outback it begins at mid-veg from seed and progresses through flowering. (Regarding petiole color)
While there are variegation or Meristem type mutations they vary based on the line. Most of the meristem mutations in mine start mid veg and progress. I have put that to the variations and ended up with wild fusions and divisions of growth early that then sorted out and a couple real freaks that never did. There are interactions, but it gets more complex. 5k plants to make a real study. I won't be the one to do it.
Anyway. These are all mid flower and it increases.

In the end it was quite recoverable, it's very tasty, sandalwood, mango, a bit mentholated too.
The effect is perfect for picking oranges.
I have to admit that for my taste the mextasy came out better, more citric and incense-like, but the effect is more happy silly.
