The Grey Area~2005 Coffee Shop Winner!

In Amsterdam there are many different types of coffee shops, some are with all the glass and brass, some have exotic decor, some are able to sell cannabis products AND alcohol, some have 2 floors, ah, but there is one...this one in particular and is considered 'tiny' in size compared to larger coffee shops, but BIG on consistently having high grade cannabis and hash as well as a bong for your use. Just how good? They won, and they were up against some good competition.

For those who couldn't be there with us, here's the 2005 IC 420 Cup Coffee Shop winner............

Unfortunately I was a bit too busy to get around much this year, so I didn't get pics of any of the other coffee shop entries, or any other shops either, so if anyone has other coffeeshop pics, please feel free to drop them here in this thread.

GM and I went in for a quick visit, 1st time we tried it was closed, while it was supposed to be open. So we got on our bikes and started to leave, when steve came wistleling along.

He opened shop we re-parked our bikes, and had the place to ourselves.

Steve is quite the character for sure. The Grey Area seemed more like a "Cheers" spot.....most folks coming through the door were on a first name basis with Steve, and most hung out at the corner of the bar there....laughing and cutting up with Steve.
I usually stopped there most afternoons, as it was right next door to my favorite "fast food.....dutch style"......FOODISM needs an award also. There Tomato Soup kept bringing me back.....and the folks working there were excellent.
The GREY AREA deserves an award........but my vote goes for the stoner package......kali mist at the Grey Area.....then right next door for the Tomato Soup.......now thats living LARGE!!
This brings me to my next thought.........partners in busines.......SOMA and Emerill Lagassee......."Bam" would be the right response after some Amnesiza Haze....followed by beef in a bourgne sauce......LOL.
