Ok, its a crappy day outside. How many icmaggers like to go out, smoke a doob, and play golf? Myself, I dont play, but I work at a course in the summer. Great job, and all of my fellow employees are college age stoners.

So who likes to golf?

i know for a fact that the ez-go workhorses we use can drift a-la fast and furious.

get it going decently fast on some pavement with sand. brakes , turn wheel , gas = drifto

between myself and my co-workers we collectively smoke about a quarter a day on the course. nothing brings out the beauty of the course like weed.

On our course we have a few real steep hills. One employee slipped on some dew one morning and his green's mower took off and went down the hill! luckily his blade was off because that thing just kept going. i guess when he fell he somehow fucked up the throttle.no good.haha

there has to be more than one golfer here, cmon guys!

I really enjoy golf, but haven't been able to play as much as I'd like to in recent years, due to the long travel associated with getting to the nearest course. I played with my GF and her dad earlier this summer, and the fact that I could shoot pars and bogeys after not playing in 5 years made me feel like it was a good day.

I agree, Artie, that there's something very soothing about a nicely watered and trimmed green after you've smoked. When I'm high, golf courses seem like a big, beautifully manicured park.

Cheers!

well, imagine this, most of the greens look so nice , because the person mowing is stoned and takes great pride in properly maintaining this piece of living art.

No activity do I love more than a nice round of golf...it's a great game, I wish it wasn't viewed as such a 'rich white man' thing so that more people would be open to its enjoyment. I played back in highschool competitively and now I just play during the summers when I'm not at school.

The jury is still out on herb and golf. A friend and I went out one day and played the front 9 sober, we both shot even par. Smoked a j at the turn, both shot +5 on the back. I think it can work for or against you...I have shots some real good rounds while high out of my mind, and some really bad ones as well. For me at least, a round of golf requires a lot of focus, and we've all had that 'zoned in' feeling while doing something stoned, but you know how quickly the herb can fill your head with random inappropriate thoughts at other times. I really like to focus in on the round of golf, forget about everything else in the world as if it's just me and the little white ball.

That's why golf-course vandalism pisses me off. The assface who tears up a green with his crappy Mustang can cause tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Every groundskeeper I know worth their salt does indeed take great pride in what they do, and a AAA green is as much a reflection of a keeper's skill and passion as it is a great surface to putt on.

Putt on!

I hear you Babbabud, I have been building super houses where I live on some of the nicest courses in the US. It is sunny all year around but I only find time to play in the summer. 10.00 after 4 pm. for a round. In the winter the green fees are high and it is PACKED with old people who play very badly. HaHa! Like me one day soon. But me and my friends like to smoke my weed (only) since theirs is mexi brick garbage and play a round or two. we also get passes to the courses sometimes that the public cannot play. Nice and quiet.

PS and we do play "Nascarts" when we golf. And that is good fun, even when my friend Ed had to pay for damage a few years back.

Oh yes the outer office I like to call it:) I have closed more deals in my life on the back nine then I ever had in a cubical. Golf is one of those sports where you can go out and shoot a shitty round and that ONE shot on the par 5 that was 180 out that ya laid up 3 inches from the hole is what keeps ya coming back for more. Great game it is.

This was the view from my balcony in Hawaii,it was on the fairway of hole #9 (yeah guys I got it bad). I was through bullshit and experince able to find through one of the maids a man that worked at the course. I asked her his days off and if he wanted to have a little fun and so 3 of the 7 days I was there he met me right outside my door cooler full cart charged and all I needed was a little green to spend and a bunch to smoke.

Gotta Love The Locals.
