The Flying Dutchmen seeds availability?

I read somewhere that they got bought out by Sensi seeds, not sure how accurate that is....

Anyways, I was wondering if there were still any reputable shops with some old Flying Dutchmen seed stocks? Looking for that Original Haze and Royal Orange (Cali-O ?)

Thinking I missed the boat on these so many years ago, wanted to reach out and ask if that was a correct assumption. Much love

The Haze Whisperer
In 2006, Eddie, the founder and owner of the Flying Dutchmen seed company decided to retire from the forefront of the cannabis industry and sell his business. Sensi Seeds was the most obvious candidate to take charge of the Flying Dutchmen and maintain the quality of its seed lines, so the company became part of the Sensi family.
There was a curiously fitting result of this incorporation. When the new US hybrids such as Skunk #1 and Haze arrived in Europe in the early Eighties, Ben and Eddie were two of the three dedicated Dutch breeders to receive them directly from the source. All three breeders subsequently took the US hybrids in different directions by crossing them with their own collections of cannabis cultivars. Ben had already acquired the genetics of the Seed Bank back in 1991. When the Flying Dutchmen became part of the Sensi Seed Bank, the three branches of that vast family tree of cannabis genotypes were reunited under one banner.
The Feminized selection, the most recent addition to the Sensi Seed Bank range, gives growers the option of original Sensi Seeds genetics in a feminized form. New strains are currently in development.

Oh damn, since 2006. If the dudes at Sensi haven't reproduced the pure haze or cali-o types from Flying Dutchmen stock by now, well, I won't be holding my breath. Much love

Fuck that's gnarly. I saw MadMac post about 9 packs that didn't live up to expectations. Forget all that mess, I'd be pissed. No Flying Dutchmen experiences for me, I couldn't deal with ordering 9 packs for them all to pretty much be duds. Looks like Todd's stuff is the closest to original haze that's going around these days.

Anyone know the best source for some legit cali-o citrus'y orange herb? I read a while back somewhere that Shanti has some but doesn't work them into public releases from what I've observed. Noticed Chimera has a hybrid with blueberry, Sensi and Dutch Passion both offer some california-orange lines. DNA offers Tangie via Crockett, ect.

Who has the best cali-o these days y'all? Much love

Not sure but some stuff that comes to mind for current offerings are Agent Orange, Jilly Bean and Tangie. I really liked the Sensi California Indica but popped those seeds in like 1996.

Nirvana has some California Orange Bud back for sale. They have taken this strain back from under the dust and started to resell it back because of the 25th anniversary of their seedbank. I have bought a pack but I have yet to grow them.

Dutch Passion had some nice one in the past, but just like many Dutch breeders since the law changed in 1998-99, when it was no longer allowed to do breeding practices indoors, they moved abroad and nowadays it is Spain and don't know how the quality is at the moment.

Cali o in seed line is offered by Nirvana and Seedsman i think.

I got the Nirvana fem version to work with in the future.
About haze and hybrids, i think a good option is cannacopia's Seedsman haze x C99, i got a couple packs, sprouted two seeds, got two very nice looking males and made some seeds with one of them. Judging by vigor and appearance they look hazy and lovely to grow.

Cheers

I know someone who stil has fuma co dios aka skunk haze (both versions) and south indian ohz....but the seeds are probably very very old...dont know if you wish to take a risk with that...let me know if you do and il point you in the right direction. Also sam does confirm that tods ohz repo should be near enough the same thing as Fdm's...after all it is true breeding at the point sam has left it...so there shouldn't be much diffrence.

Edited...ive just checked.. the fuma con dios and fuma con diabolos are gone...but thers still fuma con dios in the mixed sativa divas around ...an haze mist aka ohz south indian is still around.

I succeeded to source a few packs of Flying Dutchman from two different sources
This season I tried germing them, these are the results:
TFD original haze: 0 of 10
Fuma con Dios: 0 of 10
Titans Haze: 0 of 10
Thaitanic: 3 out of 3 showed roots. All of them got mutations, one of them got out of it and it is growing normally, a second one is still fighting the mutations stage and it looks like it will make it and the third one is having a very hard time and I dont know if it will survive.
All of them came from the same reputable seed provider and they were supposed not to be so old

From another provider I tried Haze Mist, one seed out of 10 showed roots, has shown first leaves but without any stretch so it will take time until it starts going more normally if it survives. The last pack left is The Pure but I expect similar germination rates as the rest
