I was working at a flea market with my hippy cousin out of a VW van. I was in junior high school at the time, working for extra spending money. I remembered him opening up a matchbox and pulling out some foil with gold-colored weed in it. I said that ain't pot that is something else and he talked me into taking some puffs off a tiny reefer. Damn that fricking weed kicked my ass and I didn't know if I was coming or going. I was so messed up that I had to sit in the van for about 5 hours because I couldn't do anything. My cousin passed on now and I miss him just like all the others.

Decades of bad breeding practices have made weed like that disappear. Could have been columbian gold. A pinner would get 4 people high.

My first time was at a friends house. We got some hash of his bigger sister. Not the best one, but after smoking i was lying in bed and had closed eyed visuals. I was giggling a bit about it.
Honestly i could have made it up, as the feeling i am now connecting with smoking weed is different. I think i was one of the people, that didnt feel so much when smoking the first times. But the weed was not the best in out place.

I remember at skii trip friend of mine shared a joint between 3 of us. We were around 16, I don't remember I was feeling anything apart from a little stoned, comfy bed and more cheerful, dummy chat.
I do have more vivid memories when I tried hash first time, years later in Portugal. Smoking under the cut bottle and inhaling the fumes. 1g destroyed me couple days in the row. Wounded how really good one would work on my back then.

Smoking flowers is a common american thing for hundreds of years. The hash producing countries were a little far away for George Wahington, so the usual was to just smoke it or get a tincture of cannabis indica. That was normal up until prohibition. Hash was the popular European way to consume it.
