Say hello to the custom built Multi-Micron Sugar Sifter.
Keep in mind for this example, I used about 6 oz of material that has already gone through a round of dry ice extraction.
The super sifter is an awesome way to save every last bit of kief from already ran material, or to sift the great from the good.

One of my fun and easy DIY projects.
Sift multiple microns faster than you can hand sift one.

Metal Tumbler - $60
Diesel Filters - $30
Bungee Cords - $ 5
5 Gal Bucket - $ 3
5 Gallon Lid - $ 2

Producing shit tons of kief without hours of shaking, $100. lol

Where are those diesel filters to be found? Couldn't catch the information on the film.

The specific filters used in this demo can be purchased on amazon (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_sr_kitchen?_encoding=UTF8&field-brandtextbin=Duda%20Diesel&node=1055398) or directly from dudadiesel.com

On another note, if you are using the same tumblr shown in this video (which can be purchased from your local Harbor Freight), use a 7/32 bit on your drill for a nice snug fit on your bucket.

I have a few ideas on how to improve the current setup. I'll update with results after the tests.

When are you planning to do your next test, GBTV?

If you noticed in the video, the bucket spins and centrifugal force pulls the material to the outside of the filters.

Unfortunately there is no micron netting around the rim of the filters where most of the material is drawn to.

I want try and correct this and keep everything over the filter screens at all times. I have a few things to try and Ill be sure to update with what worked best.

Yes, I did notice that. I've actually been considering the same thing and trying to come up with an elegant solution. So far,.. I got nothing. LOL! The only thing I could think of is redistributing everything at intervals but I feel there has to be a better way.

There is, and I think what it needs will arrive tomorrow.

I will put up a video if it works. If not I will figure it out ASAP and update with my failings. lol
