Im very extremly sad nervous and i feel like i got bugs crawling up my spine as i write this. I just purchased weed and recieved a phone call from a friend who examined the weed with a magnify glass and guess what ....


I call it the little red devil.





I honeslty dont even know what this is or what its going to do. my friend just had to freeze his cure jar cause he put this bud inside which contains millionns..... and these things are in are houses.....

we just got bud, nice sticky, good smelling, blah blah...

im looking at it with a magnifygin glass, and notice tiny red dots, theres literally hudnreds...then they are moving!!!!

so now im freaking out, i put a gram or so of this bud in a mason jar with 20 types of bud ive collected over time, dating back pretty long...10 minutes later i notice the spider mites, and quickly took that gram out of the jar, and looked, and there were a cpl more mites crawling on other buds, so i put the jar in the freezer....

CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!! IS MY BUD CONTAMINATED AND GARBAGE? PLEASE DONT TELL ME THIS PRIZED COLLECTION IS GONA BE TRASH...HELLP!!!!!!

You purchased it, damn.. I would tell it my dealer at least and ya freezing it might kill them... Take them then all somehow out of the bud, they can be inside the nugs too so look good... that sucks man

Honestly you have probably smoked much worse....but if you cant bring yourself to smoke it, you could grind the bud up and make some butter or something out of it....

Does a water cure sound like a solution I already smoked the bud and froze it... Like is my house infested with microspcopic spiders ? I also have a grow in my room i hpoe that is ok...

Im not sure if my hosue is infested but i know i dumped a whole half ounce containing too many on my desk which i sprayed windex on afterwards and lysol. Thanks guys

wonder if there Spider Mite Predators ??? http://homeharvest.com/beneinsspidermites.htm if your grown keep careful eye on your own plants no pest strips in the grow are so so thier better for soil gnats but lady bugs eat the hell outta mites. just release some at lights out

I was shaking for 2 hours last night fell a sleep at 5 am.... and i hope there not in my hosue still. Im thinking of leaving my window open so they might freeze over night cause its still kind of cold

i would try to shake them off but they may be INSIDE the nug too from when it was chopped

id rather eat them than smoke them thats nasty

in the future, neem oil can be used to ensure mites dont hijack ur plant

I've had...as you say, "millionns" of these in a web-like form, (as Kush King said.) had em once--never again. let's just say you smoke 20-30 of these things....that's nothing compared to how many 'mites' call into your mouth when you drool on your pillow all nite.

git a grip--watch discovery channel a while--that'll break your phobias.

I wouldn't fret my friend. Mite problems found on plants that are detected earlier are a breeze to fix. Seeing as how you know there may be in issue you can be prepared for whats ahead. Look for the OG faq for dealing with mites, it'll give you more information than I could off the top of my head. It doesn't look like your bud was crawling with spider mites. At worst you have 50 baddies in your house, not all of them will make it to the grow, and the ones that do will shortly after meet their death.

Just freeze that bud like suggested blow off the mites and spark a bowl.
