I have a theory that people tend to create an expectation on how high they will get, based on how the weed smells, looks, & tastes. Before the weed is even smoked an expectation has been established by the user.
Theory: A subject establishes outcome expectations based on sensory observations.
I think you get "high-er" when you do not get an opportunity to see the weed before it is smoked.
Example: If I walk up on a few friends smoking a joint and I join in, I think you get "high-er" because you did not get an opportunity to create an expectation.
I feel there would be a greater chance of being "less high" if i had been apart of the viewing/rolling process.
please replace "high-er" with the correct word I'm too high to figure it out...
