the doors by mr.nice seeds ?

I have always wanted a cross of nl#5xhaze and i ordered some of mr.nice the doors they are limited seed release from seedboo. the door goes like this( The Doors NL5Haze x HazeAC) the seeds are from old 80s stock. would a combination of this strain give more sativa/haze phenos then indaca? (The Nl5HazeA2 is a selected Nl5HazeA from old stock) (probly from the late 80's) quoted. and the hazeAC is described as (The Male Haze AC lineage is

Nl5HazeA(2) x SkunkHazeC.

we had our first sample smoke(no cure) of the doors last night and boy is it strong, i had heart palpitations the sweats and a full head buzz which slowly gave me a warm and happy feeling in the back of my skull
I haven't had a smoke like that in years, i love it
cant wait to try the other phenos
only 4 packs left apparently

g'day madb, i'm not sure how it would go, my humidity only gets as high as 45%RH and i have got a bit of mold in the thick crowns
The buds are very hard and thick, although i did give them pk13/14 at week 5 and 8 perhaps if i didn't use the pk mold might not have been a problem

I am geting ready to see if thes seed pop .i grew 4 plants out this summer ..and have been suprised at how if you do not grow you get rusty.i was scared when i took some early smoke test and am not getting as stoned as i remember.i use to grow gno3 c99.calio nervana.old seed stock.old ak47 cherrie pheno.ther wher 2 sativa phenos in the lott.looked like it could of been some sshf2,from a person from las vagas.i will try to keep a update.

I'm running seven of The Doors girls under 640W of COBS, feeding them lightly (<600 ppm Jack's 3-2-1) and currently about three weeks into flower. I only got one male out of 8 plants but he's an early flowering, resinous, sat-leaner. One of the girls is an NL5 leaner while most of the others look and smell like haze leaners. Stretch isn't too bad for a 50% haze. Other grow reports document very high potency and just excellent weed, so I'm hoping to get a special 14-16-week hazy keeper that mixes up Haze A and C nicely. I'll select a keeper based primarily on effect. I think The Doors is Shanti's take on a remake of Neville's Haze, and I'm really excited about this grow.

I'm flowering clones I took by topping outdoor-grown seed plants in early August. The seed plants are alive and well and the male is having his way with his seven sisters. I'll have lots of F2s to play with, and that's where the real magic will happen. Here are the seed plants a couple weeks ago.

yep ,, i grew it here at 17 degres south of the equator ,
it did fine ,, though cant say it was a very wet year for us ,


id concur with shauns findings ,, and my friends agreed ,
it was pretty strong pot ,
both plants yielded around a kilo ,
which was respectable for a fast grow ,
i put them in late in the season after the longest day had passed..

Looks like she’s got some nice structure and yield too for a Haze dominant strain! How many weeks flowering does she take to finish ?

My guess is this one and one of her sisters will go at least 14-16 weeks. I doubt any of the others will be ready in less than 10 weeks.

I flowered these from rooted clones after just a couple days veg. Stretch was much less than I expected (they were done stretching after 3 weeks), therefore the plants are much smaller than I wanted with poorly developed root structures. If I had vegged for another 3-5 days I could've increased my yield over 50%. Live and learn.

Here's that same plant at 8 weeks, as well as one of her sisters. Switched from 11/13 to 10/14 light cycle a few weeks ago and it does seem to be moving them along.

So good that I'm going to do something I've never done, I'm going to run a few of these plants again.

I got a 100% germination rate, and have had zero nanners after carefully inspecting the buds. Impressive.

sounds like a good all round hybrid, effect, flower time and bud size are all respectable, thanks for sharing your experiences with the doors,

Hey ocs, I hope you don't mind the intrusion ie pics, thought you could make some comparison with your Doors, both mine went straight into flower as bud sticks, left another pheno under fluros and am currently hoping for 40 + cuttings to play with, haven't smoked anything yet, however confidence is high due to all the positives surrounding this hybridthey certainly smell very nice atm, mine are outdoors, no sprays, fed on alpaca poo and blood and bone
