The Disco Biscuits...any bisco heads growing out there?

I started listening to the biscuits about a year ago, and I can honestly say that the culture has become addicting and the music even moreso. Ridiculous talent and diversity for a 4-piece band, the only jamband I can get down on nowadays. Missed the summer festivities at Camp Bisco 7 but have all the soundboards and it was dope nasty, as expected (audio-wise). Anyways, thought I'd share that, as I'm very let and the music is filling my home. For anyone who knows what I might be bumpin', Basis->Theiving Magpie from this past camp is what I got goin' on. Feel free to share whatever, this is a fan thread.

There's more to the world than what I've seen
There's more to my life than my eulogy
and if I ask my maker for one more day
When all of my chances are slipping away

Went to my first show in 04, and have been on the scene ever since. They always bring some good energy to the shows, granted their fans can cancel that out at times:joint:

yeah the crowds full of weirdos, not as weird as your Panic! or STS9 crowds, but it can get full of wooks quick. I hopped on the bandwagon after Sammy left, but as far as the soundboards go, alot of it hasn't been the same. Alans a friggin machine in all fairness though, his Dr.Fameus gig is pretty sweet stuff too. Anybody catch Tractorbeam in VA last month?

10.14.00 is my favorite show the have ever played.

my first show was 11.03.00, NASTY. Opened with "gimme your fucking money" into the ending of basis. Fucked my head up. I left that show so confused. 11.04.00 the next night made me an addict. saw 103 disco biscuit shows in 2002(missed only like 9 shows that year). then all of spring tour 03 too. 183 sammy show was the final total. got a bunch of old broken sammy sticks and setlists. Those were good times.

2001 NYE was the John Williams hits, (superman, star wars, indiana jones) philly
2002 NYE was the History of the disco biscuits. "Disco biscuits are coming home" after leaving CA and apes going to space.Philly
2003 NYE was in NYC hammerstein

haven't been to a NYE since 2002.

Camp 4 (sammies last) was my favorite camp to date. I was at 3,4,5. I didn't want to leave that one. It was the end of an era in my life. I knew it because it was the same feeling I got when Phish played vegas in 2000 and trey did that story in forbin/mockingbird. I knew the phish I had loved was never gonna play again. then they announced hiatus. post Hiatus phish isn't worth the time or effort.

Post sammy biscuits keep getting better but will never be the same for me. but then again I'll never be that young and in the prime of my youth. Good times.

Search out the Plan C archives. 5 discs, a best of pre 2000 biscuits. some amazing tracks on that collection.

Shimmy basis for alley kats in richmond in 99 is out of this world.

if you wanna hear the jam that spawned "King of the World"
05/06/99 Chameleon Club, Atlanta, GA
I-Man> Pygmy Twylyte> I-Man, So fucking ill.

listen to some Fall 2000 for some pure sweet dark evil juggernaut sounding jams.

I hopped on the Bisco wagon last year during southern run, so I never got to see the biscuits like they were when I started listening. 02/17/07 is one of my favorites from the more recent years, but then again the whole set sounded like something out of 01-02. morphdusseldorf>digbuddah, stone>devilswaltz, oname wa>greatabysss>morphdusseldorf.
mulberrys into mario star jam, bernstein>rainbowsong>bernstein>spacebird>orchtheme
>spacebird>bernstein, down to the bottem>gangster>down to the bottem encore. sick shit.
