Lol that you think those early OGs are sonething 'super special'. Authentic early OG cuts are the rage in my state, literally the most popular clones. On every dispensary shelf you can easily find josh, ghost, fire, etc plus a million other OGs. Cats out of the bag, gatekeepers like you lost bro. Cannabis wants and deserves to be free, and Ill always happily share any cuts or seeds with anyone that genuinely wants them.

Pretty easily verifiable ghost, fire, bxs, sfv, valley, larry, #18, louis 13, headband, yeti (over-rated but an acceptable nice og if grown in organics imho), all avalable over the counter in Oregon these days. The JoshD cut goes around too but nobody labels it that here, theyll just say OG Kush or OG K. If anyone wants help or info locating (legally naturally) OG cuts from clinics in Oregon, please PM me, I'd be happy to check around on local stock for folks before they make a trip. Hope its ok to post this, if not please remove it and apologies.

I try not to be that type of guy, but I suspect we all lose that battle sometimes, especially since we've been living in a world where opinions are now considered the same as facts. I have an idea for you, for preserving your thread, for down the road. I still can't edit or delete, but Im assuming it's maybe a manual thing a mod needs to enable. One thing I remember from my apache/nix days is how inconceivably configurable these BBS systems are.
It's probably a phenotype from Karma Genetics project with Josh D that got called Josh D OG and released under the Karma label.
So, it's likely a phenotype from that seed lot. That could end the confusion.

Thank you for the feedback. I feel like these types of quick comparisons based on a few sentences and a couple pictures of a plant aren't particularly helpful. Depending on who/how a cut was grown can make it vary wildly in appearance and smoke. That being said, the OG I posted does have the tightest nugs of all the OGs I've grown personally, but I have a fairly idiosyncratic approach to gardening so IDK. I am far from an expert on Cookies. My experience us mostly with Forum Cut (getting ready to test out Forum Cut x a super nice Banghi Haze selection though, pretty jazzed about that lol).
Here is cookies from this summer for comparison. I'll add indoor, more outdoor, veg, clone, dried flower , root ball shots, and some crosses I've made with her so far (a nice Bangi Haze selection, a quantum kush selection, a C99 I've been line working, and a Three Kings pheno from F2s of Cookie Fam's 'Crumpets') when I'm not about to throw the fucking game winning touchdown with this p.o.s. 2010 android phone with geological time scale response times.
I did put a few natural light shots from last time I ran her. Ill look for the CMH shots.
Check out the viney veg shot of my OG in my album (that's a current one, maybe Ill flower her and put weekly flowering shots in that album. I was planning on doing that for every plant album I post eventually . Maybe I'll post my forum cut grows too in the albums. To me I guess it's more that some cookies plants look like OGs.

It great pot. The smell is a sharp gassy profile in coco. Very loud og. When you squeeze a nug it comes out to a heavy bottom piney leathery deep dank smell. I have a headbanger with a similar profile that is a favorite. I get why karma named the headbanger what he did cause you can get that same smell just not likely to be on that beautiful og frame. The Loompas is at or near the top with me so far. It’s very easy to get these days unfortunately but hey that’s how it got into my garden so can’t complain too much.

picked up some louie XIII from the same place I got that really good chemdog from, this is really good too, tested lower and is a bit more chill/functional than the chemdog, the nose and flavor are so good
heavy chem, but more earthy than the chem, there is an astringent pine lemon/lime tennis ball funk when the container is opened with the earthy chem dominating after a few seconds, ground up bud in my grinder overnight has a nice soft earthy lemon smell to it, like a lemon ricola that smooth sweet candy lemon not sour or artificial smelling, similar to some lemon g I have had
comes on strong but a bit more tame than the chemdog, the chemdog was like chest pounding can't catch your breath for a bit after a bong rip and the wicked head rush that comes with that, and I would just end up being too high
this is like that but settles into a smoother stonier high, even though it's more indica and described as a heavy body high I find it more functional than the chemdog and even the gg4 I grew
I have seen headband on this place's menu, definitely going to keep an eye out, I also need to try their sis and hells
