the way coolest thing another grower has done for me, is, when TOH and I were growing aeroponic, our res temps were over 80, we were newbs.....and an experienced OVERGROW member overnighted us a chiller. Who does that???? And, all he asked, was that we always look out for other growers. That is some cool shit, back then a chiller cost 500+, and he overnighted it to us, and all he wanted in return, was for us to be as cool as him. Please post any cool stories about stuff other growers have done for you. I KNOW I am not alone in being helped by a classic, back in the day....post up what other farmers have done, to further cannabis!!!!!!

I was gifted tons of amazing unique seeds, in exchange of notdhing, only condition was that if I were to reproduce them, to spread them for free as well, no money involved. which I did for several years. Now I wish I could get my seed collection to where I'm living, since I left them somewhere else where they are safe, but I really feel incomplete without all them beans

There's an aging white guy on Maui who grows some amazing trees.
Might even call him an old Haole.
We had never met. ('cept on the cannabis forums.)
He read about my root aphid debacle a couple seasons back, and insisted on shipping me several ounces of meds to tide me over until I could get my medical grow back up.
Committed several felonies on my behalf!
Refused any payment, (Good thing, I was flat broke at the time), just told me to pay it forward.
I try my humble best to do just that at the drop of a hat.
Kindness generates kindness.
This year, when I couldn't produce enough oil for 2 patients,
Horsemanrocks ponied up some pro-bono bubble hash and Graywolf stepped up and donated a large amount of HS oil for a glioblastoma patient who is my dear friend.
Now we both have enough meds to beat cancer.
There are still some damn fine people in this world.
It's my good fortune to keep running into them.

I have a buddy who loves to order me seeds. He never want's anything, because he says,"I know that when i give you seeds, i'm gonna get to see the finished product be the best it can be, and i know you will keep it alive so i can get cut's"
Well I just have a small grow and no job, When my friend Moth got sick, there were other members here that made sure he got his meds as I couldn't supply him. They came form all over to care for him besides the meds . I find the people here are some of the most compassionate and truly good people. I'm proud to be a part of this site.
Ive had breeders send me seeds free of charge in order to supply the patients I help out with strains more tailored to their needs than what I had. I wont name names. They know who they are and Ive always made it a point to let the patients know who cared enough and was kind enough to help me supply them with what they needed.
this is an awesome thread, I have nothing to contribute because post of this stuff sounds like it's breaking TOU but if you're in a med state and know the people IRL I suppose its allowed... cool stuff..

Let me walk into their mother room and take as many cuts of anything I wanted.
Somebody gave me a few rare elites and didn't ask for anything in return.
Pops, bless his soul wherever he is, once sent me several hundred seeds. Great stuff. I distributed them around the globe, to folks in need.

Recently had some 'clean' meds donated to me, in this time of crisis. Just ran into another grower that grows super clean and they'll be doing the same thing. Good thing as I'm 2 months (at least) from any kind of harvest and man do I go batty without meds.
In return, I've donated, helped and saved others along the way... no charge. I'm more interested in spreading the information than getting any instant payback. lol

back in the overgrow days when things were more lax i used to send clones to anyone in canada that asked me for a cut. likewise plenty of growers sent me their clones. twas a nice time on the internet indeed.
