Would love to know about their usage of the Bubba x BKGK. Only a handful of people could make that. I'm assuming those seeds must have come direct from Retardo Motabon. I don't know of anyone else that worked with the cut Phillthy selected.

By naming scheme, Katsu x "BKGK" - would have to have been selected from a feminized line.

Unless they are just using the BKGK namesake out of context. "BKGK" was a named clone selected by Phillthy from Retardo's Pre-98 Bubba x Grape Krush.

My favorite purple cut of all time - even if she was a bit susceptible to PM.

Only person that ever released any work with her in it was me - BKGK Bx1 and FBPK.

the original BKGK clone, found by Phillthy, in seeds that Retardo Motabon sent in as freebies to go out with Seedbay orders in 2008/2009.

Not sure about the pheno "The Collection" used in their work, but the potential is there if they used seed stock direct from RM.

Absolutely gorgeous brother!!! He also has a strain clone only I think called grape double bubba using the bkgk x katsue bubba. I actually passed on it last month for a white fire og it's either #3 or the jackmayoffer 43 cut he has both I'm hopeing for the 43. I'm kinda regretting my decision after seeing ur bkgk I'll have to pick a grape double bubba up next run.

About it being the original bkgk I wouldn't doubt it considering some of his other cuts he has a banana og kush from ogrnkids that's I'd give my right nut for haha. Also the original sfv og and a few others he's all over instagram sway_215 and has an account at ********* u can find his post if u google. Unfortunately he's not on the forums anymore like so many others went to the hassle free instagram..

Well, the original BKGK clone, was lost on our end due to LEO. I've been trying to track her down for 3 years now. To the best of my knowledge, any of the seemingly hundreds that were holding her had let her go. She was all over MI at one point.

The "BKGK" tag was created by Phillthy and then later adapted to the seed line after the fact, since it was discovered to hold some gems. Keep in mind, these seeds were originally just some random "freebies". It's more likely, the female selection they hold is from Katsu x (Bubba x Grape Krush) male, than a feminized selection of Katsu x BKGK.

I still hold about 20 original Bubba x Grape Krush seeds from 2009 - but Retardo did work the line further. He stated several times he would release refined versions of it but never did. Thus the reason I released a Bx1 of the isolated and named cut.

Why so many people let her go was there an issue with her or did people just move to new things?

Cuts were passed much more freely in med circles than they are these days. It's all about money for the most part any more. Think a lot of people let it go thinking they could get it back. But when enough people do that at the same time.

Two down sides - she was a medium yield and like I said before, susceptible to PM. If you kept your room on point though, she could yield much better and PM was never an issue.

I lost her due to broad mites. Those things wiped out a bunch of gardens before they were common knowledge.
