nope, happens in veg too, but most agree that its not a virus - more of a genetic phenomena , see my post earlier in the thread

I agree it's not a virus, I ran Chem D for years and she is a cal/mag hog. From my experience cal/mag will solve the issue. Like others have said here, I too had her dialed in and signs of deficiency were non-existent. I was running in coco DTW using modified lucas 6/9 with 5ml/gal cal/mag but I eventually dialed that down to half the strength by adding another gallon of water. so I ended up vegging her out using 6/9 with 5ml of cal/mag for every two gallons of water [email protected] and she seemed to love it.

yeah the plant in the pic is ready for a re-pot so the leaf streak is quite pronounced.

i grow organic and my plants generally look a picture of health.... but the chem D will always have a little of the leaf streak for me. the buds are ridiculously dank though - really smells out the whole room when i open a jar. smells like cheesy sweaty shitty fuelly dankness.

Viruses spread. Have had this cut in close proximity to my other moms for around 5 to 6 years and it's NEVER spread to them. It's definitely not a virus. Misinformation runs rampant when "smart" people share their knowledge.

That TMV thread has spread more misinformation than any other here. Talk about creating a sense of hypocondria, "I dont smoke cigarettes nor do I grow tobacco, but this simple variegation must be TMV".

I agree not TMV at all Just a awesome genetic trait on an awesome plant. A staple in my garden. They high is unrefined but great when you want to just zone out and forget about life but not forget about the outstanding taste it leaves in your mouth. .

Only spreads if you have whiteflies, has to have a vector. I have seen it spread to two different grows, we both had whiteflies from hell. And it is in many canabis seeds that I have bought.

If you look at seeds that are sold like tomato seeds they sell virus free seeds. For everyone that says it is not a virus then show us a picture of what a cannabis plant with a virus looks like.

I personally think TMV is an excuse for peeps that cant or wont solve there growing issues .
Its about as common as flesh eating disease.

I'm near 100% sure that it isn't TMV, I think she has a problem processing chlorophyll. Chlorophyll at an atomic level has got magnesium in it's center, so it would make sense that the variegation clears up once higher levels of Mg are introduced. She seems to have a problem producing equal amounts of chlorophyll. I like to feed her some calmag to the variegation clears up then I drop it and start feeding her at a higher EC, I usually don't see the variegation again until flush. The variegation doesn't seem to affect her in a bad way but if it can be fixed I'd rather fix it, chlorophyll is a major part of photosynthesis so why take the risk.

Here are some Chem D pics, grown in coco DTW with multi feeds per day and 6.5Ltr pots. Vertical donut setup, this gal ended up at 9.25 oz...

i have also been through a lot of seed, i have also seen this "what ever" mosiac trait on(to some degree) at least two diff strains.

@aero G, dam pass the jar already ! lol Chem D bho is just insane! Great meds...

chlorosis from lack of nutrients would make the leaves yellow off from what ive found. doesnt look the same as what the chem has - plenty of pics around online etc.

if you look at a multitude of different plants with tmv, it does look most most like it.
unless its just a genetic abnormality.. the only way anyone would know is to test it at a lab.

Nope! Have had whiteflies on and off for the past 2 years. Chem d is still the only plant in the room that looks like it does. Hasn't spread to another single plant.

You guys really need to go read up on TMV. Has to be transmitted by whiteflies? That's absurd stoner grow logic. TMV can easily pass from infected cigarettes or pipe tobacco to your hands and then to your plant. If this variegation was TMV everyone's crop would be entirely fucked. Simple variegation. Seriously, acquaint yourselves with basic botany beyond weed and variegation like this stops being some mystery.
