Yeah, it's fine to use NPS 1 month in...dunno if I'd keep em in there till finish tho if possible. Drop the temps and raise the humidity and it'll help the NPS get a better chance of wiping them out quickly. If it's a light infestation, try removing the leaves that they have attacked - that'll remove a good number of the eggs.

I think the borg = spider mites.....cats can carry insects into a room from the outside....

jimbob i hope your plants will not be assimilated!!!!

You might want to think about taking clones and putting them in a humidity dome. The spider mites hate humidity, and if the infection gets out of hand in the main garden, you can clean up shop, and have your cuts ready and clean for after.

happy to hear the infestation is on its way out :)

a few additional tips-

buy as many as you can afford. i wouldnt count on them being gone for good.
use a bugbomb in the room after this run and bleach clean the walls and all your gear.
if you have carpeting steam clean that or get rid of it altogether.
as for the strips, do not get them wet or they lose their effectiveness,
also, make sure to replace them after 3-4 months.
if you've got pets or kids keep them away from the room. the strips are toxic to mammals too.
not a big deal though-
mites, insects, and fungi spores all hitch rides on pets, so its good to practice anyway :)

good luck and take care
