sorry to say this man but your not just gonna get all the answers postin a thread like this.. as far as ferts go theres tons that are good man you just need to know what you're giving them. you cant just dump x amount in some water and "let the fert do the work" .. study up on your NPK and diff stages of plant life.. that would be a good start..

not trying to be a dick man but your questions' just like.. "tell me how to grow marijuana" theres alot of info to be learned. and its best learned off experience and some research.. but you did come to the right place.. theres vast amounts of research to do on this site and tons of other peoples personal experiences.. best of luck to ya bro!

The very best advice that anyone can give you is to study, study and study some more. Borders and Amazon have grow books by Van Patten, Cervantes and Rosenthal. They are very cheap when compared to the financial and emotional losses from grows you try that wind up going to shit on you.

I'll be 65 in July and I still read, have a number of the books that I recommended to you, and have been able to build on the knowledge gained. Start out right and come back for answers to Q's you have about issues that are unclear. You will be happier and save money in the short AND long run.

I second this. As much as I love this place, it's hard to curl up in bed with a computer. I still have my Marijuana Grower's Guide by Frank and Rosenthal from 1977. It barely even mentions hydro but, the knowledge therein was such that when I did discover hydro, it made sense immediately.

Whichever book you get, just be sure it's as recent (and thus up to date) as possible. If you're really interested, you'll plow through in a single night. Do that every night for a week or two and you'll be able to ask direct questions and understand the answers. Welcome aboard.

I read that grow Bible still have it did not really understand anything until I actually started to grow and found this site there are some grow gods in here but the one thing that is basic that took me a while to learn actually it is very easy I am just stubborn and lazy and I read a thread of one of the grow gods that pH if growing organic was not important I did not read in between the lines and for over a year it was hit or miss now that I checked my pH it has been a hit ever sense don't use distilled water on seedlings and if you're going to use our ro water make sure to use Cal mag every time and use dolomite lime I cannot stress enough to read this site some of these guys are genius when it comes to growing that is.

i got a bit of time so here goes
you need a grow book, not necessity but will help
lights or your plants won't grow, HID is the norm
ventilation (important) to expel air and also to bring air in
soil seems to be easiest though i learnt hydro 1st
quality soil mixes can have added nutes for 1st few weeks of grow
go for a solid brand name when choosing nutrients + additives
PH meter, PH is really important, get it wrong and it can/will cause lock-out of nutes

NEEDS light, air, water, nutrients, growing medium and heat. without anyone of these essentials, growth stops and and results in plant death

i was the same when i read my 'the bible', didn't understand a lot of it until i actually started growing

good luck just starting out

BTW have you already started growing, sounds like you have, if so keep temps 22-25C, RH (humidity) 50-60 veg, 30-40 flower
if soil mix has added nutes you should be good for a few weeks
plenty fresh air
