First off: it is obvious to ME that the presenter IS NOT Bill Gates - I have watched Gates present a number of times in a variety of settings, and I’m quite familiar with the sound of his voice and his manner of speaking (20 years in the computer industry). It is not Gates’ voice, and it’s not his manner of speech, and it’s not his style of presentation. It’s not even an imitation of him. Furthermore, the presenter doesn’t resemble Gates, except in the manner that ‘all black people look alike’ to some.

Given that it’s NOT Gates, I see absolutely no reason to assume this is a presentation to the CIA beyond the ‘title’ of the clip; I’ve also heard this called a presentation to the Pentagon - but there is NOTHING in the video that identifies the identity of the presenter or the audience.

Secondly, there is specific reference to a virus altering the gene expression under discussion - not a covert follow-up vaccine; and the context is specifically religious fanatics in the wilds of Afghanistan: the intent of the presenter is the outline of a plan, but the clip includes nothing about the audience, or the intent of the ‘project’ for which the “plan” was developed: it talks about GENE EXPRESSION of a very specific gene, it talks about people willing to put on a bomb vest. It talks about an unidentified plan in that the clip includes no context for what we see.

Thirdly, we see that the audience is TINY, the questions/comments from the audience are close to inaudible, but none of the presentation addresses the situation the “plan” is intended to address. This suggests to me that this is nothing high-level, just a bare introduction to the status of an effort.

From all this, I derive the following: this is a pro-forma update on a proposed project, not something active, and not of particular interest to the audience; the context is the Afghanistan theater of war; it suggests that NO trials have been run on the supposed project (the two brain scans are not “before and after” gene-expression modification, they are of two poorly-identified subjects, one supposedly religious of the fanatical sort, and the other “not particularly religious”), or they would have shown that.

Therefore, it shows: a man, speaking in an auditorium to a minuscule audience, about an idea that religious extremism in Afghanistan could be impacted by modifying gene expression, using a virus, which I assume from context would be somehow modified to affect expression of a specific gene. It sounds highly speculative, it sounds untested, it sounds like the presenter is hoping to get his “plan” approved, it sounds like there is no eagerness in the audience about the proposed project.

The suggestion that this is Bill Gates presenting to *any* government agency about using fake virus outbreaks to genetically alter the brain of living persons and thereby control them cannot be proved by the clip. Getting there requires HUGE assumptions that aren’t supported, or even pointed at, by the clip.

I think it proves nothing beyond his desperation to find *anything* to back up his apparent paranoia. The comments below the clip (your link) show (IMO) a paranoid willingness to ignore everything in the video in favor of an already well-established belief in persecution, which allows them to see (and hear) this as validation of the least reasonable conclusions possible.

I realize that my comments, deriving as they do from the contents of the video, and from personal general knowledge, will not persuade you of anything - except perhaps that I, too, am ‘one of them’; but you did ask, and I have answered you with complete honesty.

my own comments: I have real doubts as to whether this idea - that expression of a specific gene can be accomplished, that the change of expression will change the current functioning of a living brain as opposed to the next generation (in which it would need to be DOMINANT in the population, not merely present), the idea that this could be done with a virus *or* vaccine, the idea the effects of that modified expression would be specific and foreseeable - is liable to pan out.

For one thing, I think that outcome would require far more knowledge, far more skill, far more long-term experience in genetic modification that we have. I think that if such capabilities were in fact ‘scientifically available’, and that if this were in fact a Gates-level actor, the presentation would have been more focused, more informative, the audience larger, the questions more audible and direct, the audience more active.

In short, I am not persuaded of anything by this clip except the willingness to read what they want into what they see.

As if Biden appropriating the political strikes of another politician, fudging a college paper, and cobbling together a campaign proposal out of the proposals of competing candidates was in any way as monstrous, as devastating, as harmful as - or in any way comparable to - the actions of the Trump regime during its time in power.

Replacing a lunatic pilot flying a plane into a mountain with a different pilot, who *WONT* fly the plane into a mountain, isn’t some weird kind of corruption, it’s an entirely reasonable effort to keep the plane from crashing and everyone dying.

I don’t care, right that second, whether the replacement pilot was an asshole to me in school, or manhandled my sister - I’d wait til the plane landed and we all deplaned, and then I would jump in his shit And make every effort to hold him to account. I would NOT assume that the death of everyone else on the plane was a fair trade for not letting him land the plane.

I heard the same sort of crap back in the time of Gore vs. Bush Jr. or Clinton vs. Bush Sr. The thought is that if only we empower the "resistance", things will improve. Things don't improve though, because guys like Obama and Clinton do so much evil under the radar of partisans who are unable to even notice it is happening. Clinton locked up more blacks and launched more missiles than any president before him. Nothing gets better, because fools think that electing this or that guy is going to fix the system. No single politician can fix this shit show. Its way beyond salvation in many regards.
