Yeah im sure conditions were fine because i popped 10 Sage seeds and 10 Kusage no problem. I will pick somemore up from Hempworks but may just move on to something else they may have.

Yeh im only acouple days away from Harvesting that MKultra so its all good. I got 3 different phenos so will pick the one out soon. I tried SageNSour at Anmesia and wasn't all that impressed but most of the buds there are pretty swafty small stuff but can usually get a decent taste. I will stop and grab some more for trial.

and I don't go to coffeeshops that often... but I do know Amnesia... more than often they are early with good new strains... yet its somewhat pricy and they will sell the last scraps for the same high price... so if you're unlucky and find they're almost out of stock of the one you'd like to try, I'd still buy another of which they still have plenty of big buds... some say it don't mater... I say it does! Also I somehow suspect the weed to be manicured automatically... since the structure of the cleaned buds and more importantly the less number of crystals as my own?!! This is grown out by professionals... would the weed be of less quality of mine, or would that be the effect of a cutting maching with a vacuum cleaner??!... Anyhow, since I've started growing Sage I've become the more picky if I'd ever buy some...

I will be watching this thread also-as i have four sage plants that I have sexed already (3 girls one boy) and that was from four seeds germed - four for four not bad eh? as has already been stated in this thread this little girl really stinks! even in veg.! I am also working with some sensi star from Paradise (crosses are a def. possibility in the near future) My first sage and sensi star clones just went into my room for their 2 wks of veg time under 800w of mh - in two weeks they will be hit with the 12/12. Good luck with your grow Sativa I know that I'll be watching.

Sativalbelieva trust me the Aadvark does not affect the final product as i use it. Well i used to. The reason Amnesia usually only has small buds is that they only deal with small growers who grow there personal weed then sell the scraps to Amnesia. I agree if there down to shake and trim get something with some buds to it. Stop in there and talk to them they will tell you whats up. They did for me cuz i was nosey and asked. See you there Jubei

Dunno about the name but I saw ads of a auto cutter... it had a connectio for a vacuum cleaner to collect the trim... the air goes through a sieve and collects crystals... dunno if it is used at Amnesia weed, nor dunno if it is grown by small growers... but I've seen big buds there... it is not always scraps... but in my case, I just bought scraps because I really wanted to try Sour Diesel... and that was all that was left... so I asked to pick for buds and spare me the branches... when I rolled a joint I made a comment about all the branches, and it was not appreciated!
I do enjoy the view out there, though...

Yeh view is nice. But the vacuum is to be used when the plant is just cut. The weed can only be cut when its fresh with the Aarvark. The crystals do not come off the weed or buds as they are still fresh and not brittle like they are when they are dry. I know they don't always have scraps but the man who was working there and said he had been an employee for 6 months told me that they only deal with small growers. And that he never saw anybody buy 5 grams of natural sin like me hehe. Well i'll be there for 420 and ill stop into amnesia and talk with them . See what they say. Later Jubei

Dude, 420 it is in april this year... in Amsterdam, right? I've never been really into the Cups and exhibitions... how many different are there?... in Amsterdam alone?... or is it like a worldwide circus like tour... including events in Canada... Barcelona...Jubei said:

That'll be a good benchmark test... as many growers believe his/her own is the best... anyhow, I've become much more critical on weed when I buy from a coffeeshop since I grow my own... thought that 2e Kamer sold only weed from small growers and they are fond of it... Grey Area is also famous, the Grey Haze was pretty strong... muchos cristallos... but the smell and taste was a bit dark, forcing me to thing this weed hasn't been flushed properly in its last week... Katsu is one of those shops that pays attention to cure the weed, but still I don't like all what's on the menu... and they are so secretive about their curing techniques...
Are these all small home growers, or are there also big commercial entries?... It's still a bit hard to realise for me who would like to win the price... stand in the spotlights... and know that only 4 plants and 30 grams of weed is permitted per househould...

Hovah, NYCD and SnS are both superb... I've never grown NYCD, so I dunno about the yield potential, but I've smoked it and I love the grapefruit taste... I could smoke it on and on... active, light smoke, no KO punch... though I like the more lemony scend of the original Sour Diesel mother a bit better...
I haven't smoked SnS yet... as this is my first cycle... but I do know about SAGE and what great father this'd make... my Sage females did produce big buds and the smoke is light spicy, and has a good strong jab... like a sparring partner keeping you active and on your guards!
For SnS I expect a little improvement over Sage on taste and smell... like adding sweet 'n sour lime...
Somewhat prejudiced, I'd put my money on SnS... if you'd have the chance, smoke 'm both in Amsterdam (Amnesia is likely to have both) otherwise check for the 4:20 Cup results... and by April I will put up a smoke report for SnS...

S.B. Ive smoked blueberry before and it was very,very strong high,but it was a racing and i didnt like racing high , the guy who sells it, cant so im looking that has some cough lock and not too strong in order to give some to some patients i know does NYCD or the SAGE have lock ?

Hovah, neither NYCD nor SAGE have couch lock... sativas tend to give more of an active high... to differientate both, I'd say NYCD is more racey and SAGE is a bit more easy going... its activating, brings focus and has some calming effect too... and like I said, taste is a main difference... NYCD has the most grapefruit scent ever... SAGE is light spicey, a bit like cinnamon... and grown on soil, like I did, you can taste nice earth tones...
I know SAGE is often used for medicinal purposes, it is high on THC and low on CBD/CBN... the latter cannabinoids add to couch lock while THC provides the active high... if you're looking for a narcotic stoned couch lock, go for more indica dominant crosses... those strains tend to have more CBD/CBN... my guessing is that indicas could really help soothing body pains and falling asleep, but if you feel a bit deprimistic and low on energy I'd recon sativas would suit better... though, maybe I'm not the right person to ask... as I don't have much experience with indi doms and med use, I can't advise you any further... I look for thought provoking highs, positive vibrations without tireing off my body too much...

The 7th day
On the morning of the 7th day of flowering, I took the smallest of my 4 Sage 'n Sours out for some quick snap shots...
Amazingly how she doubled her size in 6 days... from 25cm up to 50cm...
I have started to add nutrient to the water... canna flora, about 60% of the dosage on the bottle... and I'll increase that to 80% in a few weeks... once a week I pour water only... I don't have EC meter, but I'd say an pH meter is essential... I always measure pH and level it down to 6! This cycle I won't use any fertilisers than canna flora and what is in the soil (standard all-mix)allready... for a next cycle I'd like to recycle the soil I've gathered past year and upgrade it with pre-mix, wurm cast and perlite... and maybe I'd like to try adding bat-mix, friendly funghi and make use of boosters, vitamins or enzymes... but this cycle goes plain and simple... then we'll see what any extra's may bring!...
She's very quick starting to mature too... in 6 days 12 hours of light. Note how all side branches firmly face upward... I have not topped, shaped or trained any of these 4... it kind of SCROGs itself...
And... if I'd put each in a corner it wouldn't matter if the main bud grow higher than the side branches... and half way the flowering season, I'll put a new cycle in the middle... thinking perpetually!
