TH Seeds "Da Purps"

Hi Everyone,is anyone else out there growing this strain?
Its a Purps female x afghani male.
Heres a few pics of mine at about 3 weeks of 12/12.
Nothing fancy here,just 2 400 watt hps and a fan.
I'm trying to keep everything organic.
I think they are just about done doing the stretch and should start doing some serious flowering.
I know theres not much to look at yet , I'll update pics when theres more to see.

Just got some of that too Zombo. Looks like a stretcher! Now I know why they crossed it with an Afghani. Is it just that one, or are there other phenos? I'll be looking forward to how she does for ya.

aeric:they did do a lot of stretching.They were about 12 inches when flowering was induced and they are now at about 40 inches.I hope they're done, I'm running out of ceiling room.
I got 5 females and they all look pretty much alike except one seems to be a little shorter and stockier.

damn even the short one looks more sat..lol. I assumed they were gonna be more 50/50 but with a (supposed) 10 week flo period it shouldn't be too surprising. I'll be watchin this while my babies catch up to yours. They look well cared for by the way.

Hey Everybody,Heres an update on "Da Purps" at 44 days of 12/12.
They stopped stretching at about 5 feet.They had to be bent and twisted to keep them under the light.
According to TH Seeds they're "mostly indica", I'm not so sure about that.

Heres 2 pics of them jammed in the closet,the shorter plant at the far right is a strawberry diesel,which was put into 12/12 at the same time.

great thread zombo! wow she looks sativa dominant! especially that clone pic. did you see much variety in the phenos? i think we've all been intrested in this strain nice to finally see it grown, and with nice pics too

Hey Zombo, I'm pretty new to this site, so I just found this thread about a month late. Anyway, your plants look great!

I'm in the market for some new beans and I'm gathering info so I look forward to seeing how these buds turn out! It is on my list of possibles. BTW, have you grown anything else from THSeeds? They have a bunch of strains I'm interested in.

THSeeds has a somewhat of a reputation here among some for putting out unstable genetics. some would say, cashing in on elite clones (hogsbreathe, da purps, i think an OGK hybrid(?) by making hybrids of them, or to approximate them and releasing them.

conversely, i've had some of their shit and it's great. sometimes it's not exactly as advertised, but i appreciated that .some. kind of well led selection happened when i've seen which (out of 10-20) seeds became moms, and their output.

i don't see any difference personally than growing out 2 dozen seeds and searching for some awesome moms. just these aren't experimentally amateur F1's of whatever, they have very good chances of producing keepers.

anything i said is right, and wrong, and so not right it's not even wrong. depending on who you ask.
