Texada Timewarp

I finally managed to get some of these seeds from Peak. I know very little about the strain, only that it was an exception clone. Clearly peak has found something to breed to it because they offer it up.

Can anyone tell me anything about the strain? If you know anything about peaks, that would be great but any info would be helpful?

I believe its early finishing and mostly sativa. I've never grown it but I'd like to some day.

texada timewarp is a large yielding outdoor clone, grown for 30+yrs.light green, fruity and frosty buds are very potent.the high is intense and long in duration.this sativa/indica hybrid has been tested using GC,to be 15% thc.let this one go until mid october for peak maturation,as she is mold resistant.
cant comment on peaks version, but i do know the peak boys are relative noobs.i would tend to go with a diff version from a more og company, but u might find a winner!reeferman has a true version, and the many crosses are abundant, but timewarp hybrids are seldom as good as the og clone.

Hey folks.
Thanx for the info Hurk and chron. I usually grow indicas but my wife wants me to grow this one so here i am. Im hoping it produces for me too!

Good info bigbag. I wonder, do you think the "large yielding" indicates plant size (big plant) or growth density? Since it has good mould resistance, im guessing a big plant. Im trying to decide where to hide it. I dont want to hide her in weeds 4-5 ft. and end up with a 9 ft plant. Branchy or chrismastree?

I think you might be right about "relative noobs", but I like the guys, their honest and have a pretty good eye. I first bought their norther lights years ago and the thing finished mid sept and was really potent. They hooked me.

yeah big plants, and not really dense buds but huge calyxs.timewarp tends to be pretty leafy, but hey its old school!
you know the peak guys are decent, ive emailed them b4 and they seem honest.they only moved to BC a few years ago,but have met og growers who shared genetics.
timewarp is branchy and tall, with twisting growth(nicknamed twister).can get over 10ft in some cases.

You know, what I really liked about peak at first was their 2$ per seed offer. I wish that would catch on at all banks. With peak, you got 28$ - you got 14 seeds. They've changed it now I think but I liked that..

Ive found that leafyness is easier to tolerate when your'e blown away. Im glad shes a big girl, I have just the right spot in a river valley with black soft loam 4ft deep. The native weeds there grow to 10' and her mould resistance will help with that heavy dew that hangs in valleys until 10 in the morning
late in the fall.

Thanx bigbag

patchworks timewarp is one of my all time favorite smokes but i just found a better version in next generations timewarp f5 ive had experience with a lot of timewarp hybreds next generations seems to be the best representation ive seen or possibly patchworks, only got two females from the patchworks so its hard to say. great high and taste

this is the one she didnt like my indoor cab to much but this she is super frosty super potent and delicious

timewarp doesnt grow well indoors, kind of a waste of time.if crossed with a long blooming equatorial it does alright.makes good seeds indoors though, because one doesnt really care what buds look like.patches,owner/operator of patchworks seeds,is actually a texada islander.so his version is the real deal.reef's is a TW x petrolia headstash, then backcrossed and inbred.next gens looks sweet too!
i have been playing with timewarp and crosses since '93,and i must say the clone bud was WAY danker back then.
johnyhash, looks nice but u know what i mean, they dont really like indoor.u can still get good smoke though.twister hates hydroponics too.developed and selected for outdoor.
ive been told its related to the blue family.

Heres some pics of a recent indoor texada from next generation this one deffinitly a keeper although she doesnt yield well inside the buds are still hard potent and delicious.

And here is one of my favorite timewarp hybrids i call it primo. its patchworks timewarp x dr atomic blueberry northern lights the right pheno of this is tastier than anything ive ever tried except for romulan x purple diesel.

goes great in or out.

This is an old thread, but I have the Texada clone. I haven't run it outdoors, but indoor's its a light loving stretcher. Didn't know/not surprised this is considered an outdoor cut. Will be running it this spring now lol. That amandment list is similar to Rev's TLO mix, which I use a modified version of and gwt excellent results from.

I have. It was in a corner of a 5 x 5 tent and wasn't vegged for more than 2 weeks in 5g living soil. Yield was weak, buds looked nice from a meter away, but up close lacked trichome coverage. would say bracts/flower material had 20% average glandular trichomes and very little evidence of sessile trichomes secreting oils directly onto the flowers. Got her in veg rn in a 5g pot under 1k HPS. Going to try her again with much higher PAR and generous veg time/root space. Will update with pics of that run in 2-3 months.

Edit: I'll put up a veg shot here when I feel a little better; still recovering from norovirus.

Nice!! Is it the original clone? You must be on the island

Here's my cut original timewarp. I re-did johnyhash's "The Primo" with peakseeds northernberry. I sourced a couple packs of johny's original cross from the boo but no luck on those 10 year old beans.:tiphat:

I live in the Victoria area of Vancouver Island, I scored a bag of outdoor bud that wasn't cured and full of seeds , but was a pretty strong smoke despite its lackluster appearance , iv been growing those seeds for years now , its amazing resilient ,once its outdoors you basically have to cheak on it to water it once a month , iv crossed the genetics with some blue monster seed I had its a strong auto flowering indica , I'm growing this with much success , got a mid sized plant with a slightly shorter flowering period and (hopefully a higher thc content from the 20+% blue monster (blueberry auto crossed with cheese ) , next year I'm going to try and cross one of my original timewarp/seawarp / whatever texada strain I got , with some pink kush , potentially with the hope of crossing those ; pink cross and blue crosss together ) , I want to keep the mold resistance and outdoor resilience but increase the indica and thc level
