timewarp still exists in pure form
front and center.
I can not share the source and they probably aren;t online anyways but this is a family held pure line that has never been outcrossed

@Tynehead Tom gorgeous plant my man. I suspect a few people still have it, I can't imagine a line that was grown o so many would completely dissappear.

@BC LONE WOLF is it a clone only strain or just tightly held? It had to come from a seed line originally. Any idea of its lineage?

I'm not sure of the linage. Its story has origins in Cali and Darft dodgers hidding out in the west coast "BC" bringing with them some genetics very possibly clones. Then growing it for over 4 decades on the gulf island specifically Texada island.

Based on the flower time its got a fast flowering genotype of not more than 60 days to harvest. Its a hydrid made for outdoor guerilla growing. Resistant to mold and rot with compact internodes.

I would guess its got some Hawaiian landrace in there mixed with with some fast flowering Afghan. Smell of pine and lemon.

The original genetics is clone ONLY from a mother kept by the local families here on the island, people have made seeds from the original thru various methods (STS, backcrossing..) but nothing is the same as the original clone only genotype.

I was gifted a small amount of seeds made by a local Bc breeder, he did a repro/IBL of BC bud depot regular Texada Timewrap line several years ago.

I just finished growing one female and male of his repro, I also dusted 2 lower branches to IBL what ever I have here. I ran underlights, I will do a proper outdoors grow this coming season.

@BC LONE WOLF Lasqueti island had some good crosses I remember. Probly someone's holding it some old head on the islands..I'd like see your repro OD this summer eh ..

The pheno finished in 55 days, I'm impressed. Its doesnt stink so I am assuming no skunk in it, It started putting foxtail on the very top of the buds so when she is done she done. Lots of trichomes I should be able to smoke it in 2 weeks.

I'm uk based but I've been trading with an old school BC breeder for more than a decade, he's sold/swapped me some good seeds over the years. I reached out to him and whether you can believe it or not, he said he has seeds of it as he is friends with a family that has held it for like 3 decades. never outcrossed......like I said, take it with a pinch of salt as proof is always in the pudding. But I do trust him. I'll take the risk for 100 clams

Sounds like a good start mate. Most people keeping the real deal will be straight with you. You either get the real deal or a line very similar to the original.

The story of the Texada timewrap resembles a lot of that of blue dream Santa Cruz Cut. Probably coming from the same area and same time 60s to 70s.

I will ask my friend if he can tell me the origins and history of thier Texada timewarp but he specifically told me it is the pure line kept in seed form since the old days. This is a family who's grandfather settled in Port Hardy when it was nothing more than mud and shacks and loggers/fishermen. Apparently he was quite the grower and always had pot plants in with the corn every season in the family garden. So weed growing has been in thier blood for at least 4 generations on the BC coast with my friend now residing in the southwestern corner of BC which as the photo a few posts back shows..... is a very favorable climate for outdoor here in BC. His daughter makes the 4rth generation grower in thier family and she is actually growing a whole garden of my seeds LOL I didn't even ask for a clone or seeds as when we were talking about it , the tone was kinda coming off like it was not availlable outside the family...... but I'll pry a little before spring time gets here LOL We have traded for many cuts and seeds over the past few years so you never know.
