Tent to motherplants and clones??

hey

I´m thinking of buying a tent and have this as a space for my motherplants and my clones.
My question is if I can have both the motherplants and the clones in the same tent?
I want to have at least three mother plants, all of the same sort. What kind of lighting is best for mother plants?
And should I veg my clones under the same light or should these veg under stronger MH light in a different tent?

Also I´m wondering what medium to use for mother plants. Is it best with soil or hydro? All tips are welcome

How would I set it up if I want an automated watering system for the motherplants?
The problem is that I can only visit the place once a day when having clones and only once every two days when no clones.
Yes I´m going to use t5 lightning in a secret jardin 120*120 twin tent with the motherplant in the bottom and the clones on top.

Take a look at Leptosoma a Polish member. He utilizes the 1m2 tent by placing a shelf half way up and creates 2 separate areas. I have seen him get nearly 600 g from a 400w in soil with the mums and clones above under 150w HPS. Both areas have separate passive ventilation.

veg all in one space using t5 lights. i put my clones in the shade under the bigger plants.






i also use a SJ tent, 4'x4', but if i was going to buy another one id go with a tent from Gothamhydroponics, they are less $$$ and better or equal materials.

just a little advice. allways take way more clones then u need.
when you do this you dont have to waste your time with the slow ones.. and the weak ones..

also. keeping mothers and clones in the same tent is fine.. just get a shelf. so that u can put the clones on the floor while they root.. kuz they like less light.. while rooting.. then u can put them on the top shelf closer to the light so they dont stretch too much after rooting..

and if ur going to do a perpetual.. when ur about 2-5 weeks into flower u should have ur next batch getting ready to go into flower right as u harvest! .. timing is everything.. have fun and good luck dude looks like u got it going!

i own a 4'x4' SJ but i saw their tents while looking at led's. they claim no off gassing and thicker canvas w/ heavy duty zippers. the vent ports are larger with double socks and i doubt ANY tent is w/o light leaks.

they all leak where the zippers meet as well as around the zipper itself. i run 2 600's so any pin hole will leak light.

i plan on buying one of gotham hydro's tents this summer.

i dont have a good pis showing the lights and cooltubes but ill get one in a few days. i was running my 600's stacked in a vert grow but have changed to horizontal for more floor space.

when i buy the 5'x5' tent from gotham hydro ill use it on its side so my floor space is 5'x7' and ill have a bit more room to run my perpetual med tent.
