Tent Setup Space Requirements?

Would it be possible to set up a 4'x4' tent in a 6' x 6' x 6.5' room?

Most of the tents I am looking at are right at 80" or so which would give me almost no clearance. Not to mention the tight floor space.

The room is hidden behind a false wall and the only entrance is 30" x 60".

I could frame out a 4x4 space within the room but I wanted something more modular that could be packed up and moved to another location easily.

Anyone know of any quality 4x4 tents closer to 6' in height?

thanks

That'll be pretty tight man. I set up a 5x5 tent in 8 x 10 rooms more than once and it's not too hard, even with furniture and stuff in the room. Try to do a layout of the floor space with something you have laying around and see how much room you'll have to move around. I'd assemble the frame and push it down to one corner of the room and start feeding the canvas material over it, starting at the back wall and ending at the front door. As long as you have enough room to squeeze around the side and back to the entrance whilst pulling the tent over/under/around the frame it should be alright.

You'll have to be careful not to get all the tent bunched up somewhere and patiently work it bck and forth in the little amount of floor space until you get it fitted. Good luck man

The Secret Jardin Dark Street DS 120 tent is 120x120x180 thats about 5'11" x4'x4' in real money .I had the same problem, cept my room is 10' long x6' widex6'6" high.this tent just fits nice, but you'll have to vent into the room above remember.
