why would you add a water heater??? Anyways i'd shoot for a luke warm to cold target.

PP1234:: I think what Blunt69 means is, That you dont heat the water. A temp above 80 helps fungi & other micro-organisms grow and oxygen is not as readily available. You dont want this, so most growers keep there water at room temp(around 75)or a little lower but not cold water. Hope this helps :wave:

I'm a hydro guy, so please correct me if I'm wrong. I think PP1234 wants to warm up his tap water just a little so that he doesn't shock his plants. My water right out of the tap is anywhere between 49F-52F. IF this is the case, it would probably be cheaper for you PP1234 just to let the water sit out 24 hours and get to room temp. rather than by a heater to warm the water.

Ok soil guys/gals, am I way off base on this one?

ok need to let the water sit 24 hours b4 feeding by the next day the water goes ice cold in the basement........im gonna add a water heater so what temp should i set it at

Hear in Brasil I just work with the water.. in 20°c....

Can th e plant absorve more nutrients because of temp of water???
