Temporary "emergency" flowering advice

Here's the issue, I have a BK and PK going into flower. They were under 250 watt Super UFO for veg. I have a space that is lit 24 for my veg area. These are under SunGro HPS beside the LED and the two went into flower 4 days ago and because I am building my 4x8 little at a time due to budget, I've been carrying them over to a literally pitch black closet for the 12 dark.
My question is this, is there ANY kind of McGiver advice to temporarily cover these girls so I don't loose the momentum or create other problems so I don't have to carry them twice a day. Until at least the flowering section of the cab is built, I'm kinda SOL .Can't imagine how that will be when they really skyrocket and grow.
Any ideas ? Thanks !

Clarification: All 5 plants were under both lights, but the HPS is supposedly better for flowering so that is the primary light for the flowering. As mentioned I am carrying the 2 girls to a closet for the 12 hr dark.

Yeah, sounds like a PIA. If you could tell us more about the space where they are lit, maybe somebody will have a good idea for you. Good luck. -granger

Howdy pals, well, I have a temporary solution and it seems to working great! Want to post some pics, but image insert wants a url or link and I simply want to post them from my pc. Anyway, got a large LOWE'S wardrobe shipping box altered for more height. Totally dark with "OK" air circulation and no humidity issues. Again, pics will arrive once I learn how to post them, thanks!!

Great idea! Or, hit up appliance dealers for cardboard box, (refridge, washer, etc.) saying "it's to build a fort for my kids".

Cardboard box like your doing is not the worst solution, enough space to breathe and helping keep humidity down just make sure it's light proof or a couple weeks from now your aren't going to be happy with plants that haven't switched phases, or worst still super tall stretched plants looking for that little bit of light at the top of the box or even worst still.... hermies. Get that flower section built asap dude.
