Temp and stretching problems!

Hello friends , im a noob and i want some advice. At 20/4 i planted the sprouted seeds to the soil and today they are as u can see them in the photos.BUT my problem is that the 2 of them that are just under the lights are stretching a little to much imo and im afraind they gonna fall over. Also i need to raise my temp some how.Im using Evergrow saga sco 560 led grow light(i think that the true wattage of this thing is 400W) that has 3 switches , one for red one for blue and one for white leds .Right now im having only the whites on and at a distance of 70 cm from plants and the temp inside the tent is 20.5-21.5 when lights on and 18.5 lights off.humidity 65-75%. Im thinking of opening and the blues lights on so it can produce more heat but im afraid of the result cause the company doesnt have any guidance for the lights. The other solution whoyld be to switch to an old 400 w hps but i whould prefer to grow them under leds.Any advice whould be helpful .THanks in advane mates!

If you are planning to repot them you can replant them lower in the soil, up to the round leaves to lose the stretch.
new roots will grow anywhere below those leaves also. :tiphat:
Best of luck

Put the light closer. Heat the tent, like with a heater maybe? Am I missing something???

Just this guy, ya know?
As seedlings like that, I never have the light so far up. And if you are running LED's the excess heat should be trivial. For my seedling tent I use a cheap seedling heat mat + temperature sensor to keep them no warmer than 80F. Personally I'd lower the lights about a foot and keep an eye on them for the first week, then start raising the light. Aridbud is an autoflower pro I will ping him in.

Thanks, Agent PotHead- I got your message.

mimistow, your seedlings are leggy/stretching- that means the light/lamp is not close enough to your plants. If you only have one light and cannot light surrounding area where legginess is happening, get another light.....OR.....rotate your containers which gets to be labor intensive.

Agree totally w/ mr. brunch and Mr. J. Instead of making excuses, READ and LEARN from them!!

You can gently tamp around the seedling stalk to add more soil to limit the legginess.

Get a germinating mat to heat up if need be.

Looking at the specs of your light, it's for 4x4 (16 sq ft) or ~ 1.48645 sq. meter.
How big is your tent?

And don't go messing with blue, white lights. USE ALL LIGHTS!

the thing is that those who get stretchy are the two that are directly above the lights in the center ,if i lower the lamp the surrounding pots wont get enough light .

Then you need TWO lamps.....or limit what you have in your tent using the optimum light.

I’d flip all 3 switches on, or you’ll only be at 1/3 of the wattage.
Put them all on, and lower that light as suggested- I’d say maximum 18-24 inches above.
As they’re autos you’re probably right about repotting, but as arid says you can bank up the soil around the stem.

dont you think with all the lights on the seedling at such a young age will get burnt?

No 100%
Fix the light at 70cm to start with, and, then observe with a slight breeze towards the seedlings
Temps around 25C,when HPS on,humidity 50/60%
You mind need to LST them later, keep us up to date
I would even, personally, consider switching to 12/12 with that stretch

No please don’t 12/12, you’ll end up with a gram on a stick.
2ft should be plenty to avoid burning, even under a 600 hps.

I just replaced the LEDs with the 400w hps and im waiting for it to fire up so i can check the temperature and see how the plants will react.

To be honest, I'm not seeing any difference between my 400w HP's sunmaster with added blue, and my 300w led for young plants.
As for plants falling over, I let them, they get up again. Your soil does look very dry though.

I wouldn't pot seedlings into such large pots, I found they send roots to the edges then to the bottom, then want repotting. So starting with smaller pots and potting up, even just once, gets the roots to fill all the soil much better.
