I am going to be starting going to protests again after years or not doing any more....well im sick of being angry and just boring my family waxing lyrical about stuff so im gonna shout at the police instead l;ol.
anyway Pigs an protesting...they can get a bit vicious, camcorders have been used by the filth for years to convict rioters, and in the past few years have been increasingly used by protesters themselves to film the actions of the police-leading to several prosecutions of protestors being thrown out of court. This has led to the sitiuation now that anyone at a demo seen with a camera camcorder who isnt a pig gets automatically arrested, for the purposes of taking the tape/wiping the internal memory. My frined was at a demo last uyear filming he was arrested, taken to avan and searched, and given his broken cam back and de-arrested in 2 minutes flat when 2 pigs were assaulting a woman(one hit her in the face and the other repeatedly batered her knees and shins with his asp) one of the pigs had seen him filming it and so they had him.
He wasnt charged,the woman who had the shit beaten out of her was never arrested even..
Now my question is regarding the possibility of filiming on dv camera, and by using a mobile phone/laptop/pda to beam the footage back to a remote location-ie a house nowhere near the demo....
basically is it do-able and if so is the equipment exppensive.....
ill be wearing a big sandwich borad that says """attention pigs, my footage of your bad behaviour has been beamed to a safe location so taking my camera wont help""" lol ....... Also, could the computer be pre-programmed to email the file as soon as the feed shuts down for whatever reason to multiple backup addresses just in case.
